I was thinking the same She was so full of herself and making the event about herself I mean it's not a problem former Miss universe taking her time but she spent way too much on the stage trying to be the centre of attention And keeping the 1st runner up waiting was so disappointing Someone tell her she's not even relevant anymore
Contestant 39 has always been underestimated by so called "pageant experts". She wasn't on most people's radar. But she proved everybody wrong. She even beat a lot of the favourites. Happy for her win... ❤

As a Naga, I've followed her pageant journey since she was 18, and this marks her eighth year in the pageant field. I’ve seen her capabilities and strength grow each year. Unfortunately, because many aren’t aware of her journey, they tend to underestimate her. Moreover, her unique beauty, which is rare in India pageant, might lead some to perceive her as less competitive. Nevertheless, she has continually proven her critics wrong. Proud of her 🙌.

Rhea was exactly who I had in mind as the winner . She comes across as very polished & gives clear Miss Universe vibes . However , she needs to work on her walk as doesnt grab attention like how Harnaz's did . Chhavi - from the begining she gave me :Im clueless why Im here" vibes . Dint find anything that stood out and her gown was only adding pain to the bruise . I Have ao many questions ! I dont even know why Urvashi has been called back . She didnt even make it to the semis at MU 2015 . Why didnt MUI think of Indian hosts such as Malaika or a former MU ? Why was the show so long and not well thiught of?
Like Luis said, her styling is lacking and that effects the stage presence and perception to the judges, I agree with Luis that the top 5 were deserved and Daisy narrowly missed out but that was quite fair

As someone from other country, nagaland look more like a southeast asian. I feel like they want to keep that distinct Indian beauty to represent India. I think its okey to continue sending someone with strong Indian look, as Indians has one of the most beautiful faces in the world.
I am from Odisha.For me,it's miss Nagaland.Others' answers seemed so prerehersed.But Nagaland's answer was so authentic and real.And it really addressed the current challenge that's going on in India.For me she is definately deserving...Hope she will participate in other peagents and get a crown for India.❤
It's not just the guten gown , her overall styling and stage presence was also lacking compared to the top 4 and then Miss Nagaland captured hearts with her answer so Daisy lost out

Performance Rhea killed it on the final day and she was consistent form day 1 .. but she’s still a kid .. chhavi is a grown man with lots of experience and amazing profie .. Rhea wasn’t a dark she was number 2 for most people
As for Chavvi Verg she chose india as second option after failing to represent USA in 2017 °° if she was so passionate about representing India despite being an NRI she could have done it back in 2017 m we don't need users like her who conveniently try to play their NRI card. The girls had no say in the selection of gowns. The organisation themselves gave girls the gowns. Hence we saw the teen girls getting more extravagant gowns. Where is daisyy and chhavi getting simple gowns

I think miss nagaland could have won her walk wasn't that good But the only problem with Rhea was that she was a bit too much । The walk was a bit extra। For the main competition she must tone down a bit She looks like a loud version of Harnaaz

As you said Daisy delivered a perfect answer to that question and the only reason that she could not advance seems to be her evening gown but the gowns were provided by the organisation itself. So don't you think it's unfair to judge contestants on the basis of gowns that were provided by the organisation itself? I really believe Daisy had it all to become our next Miss Universe India. I have been following that girl since Miss Diva days and I could not see her not standing in the Top 5 that night. Yes agreed that Daisy gown was not the best but luis look at that girl walk and face! It screams miss universe you can't deny that and I honestly wasn't even looking at there gowns cause if you can't carry it then I don't need to pay attention, Daisy in swimsuit, EG, QNA never disappoint me she gave her best and she definitely deserves top 5 period.
The only thing i would like to change about results is to replace contestant n0. 47 with Daisy in the top 5, and then to have a top 5 common QnA to see who delivers the best answer. Alas! We cannot avert the results, but my heart really bleeds for Daisy, who in my eyes is one of the purest and most divine beauties to grace the Miss India stage in the recent years.
FYI the gown has been given by the organisation done by a Vietnamese designer. Her prelims gown was from a designer Arif mukhim the famous one in North East.

Babe, production is not just the stage and visuals. It would include the breaks, blackouts, use of lighting, whether lighting is used at the right time, wrong time, a little late, a little early, use of time, content, presenters' personalities, preparedness, CAMERA WORK and lots more. The had a good stage. That's it. Yho! It was a terrible production. I also thought that the winner could have waited a couple of years before entering...😢
Rhea is a deserving winner. But her pasarela is very heavy and bumpy. She needs to work on that. We want smooth and elegant performance in Miss Universe calibre. Plus her facial dynamics is not fluid and smooth at all. She was doing too much, open mouth chin chuck snappy facial fluidity. She was trynna be confident but it was very unnatural. She needs to look on these too. I hope the new MU India will train her at the best just like how the Miss Diva transform our girls into MU calibre
The female MC pronounced badly ("Icon" pronounced as "I Can") & when she tried to ad-libbed, her choice of words were wrong too. Soooo many great speakers in India, and they chose this Vietnamese host?
I actually feel sorry for Daisy. She is confident in all her performances, and her answer was good. I really wanted to see her in the top 5. I think the organization didn’t have the right judges for this contest. Rhea needs to improve her speaking skills a lot. When I listened to Harnaaz’s answers, they melted my heart with the words she used. Rhea is capable too, she just needs to prepare well!
I absolutely hated the camera work. The camera for most part was limited and fixed on the centre, which mean that only some girls/TG were visible. No close up shots, not wide angle shots, no dynamic range...flat and uninspiring visuals !
There was definitely no time limit in the Q&A. And ironically, it worked against tge contestants. They were allowed to give long, watered-down answers.
😭But Luis in india peagents are more famous in india in nintees when we have bharat sundari and bharat putri peagents at that time indians care about it.💝

Chhavi needs to learn when to stop. Both her Miss USA and MUI final answers were great but both times, the ending werent great at all.

Saw the pageant on RUclips and I'm shocked that the rightful winner was robbed..
I actually feel sorry for Daisy. She is confident in all her performances, and her answer was good. I really wanted to see her in the top 5. I think the organization didn’t have the right judges for this contest. Rhea needs to improve her speaking skills a lot. When I listened to Harnaaz’s answers, they melted my heart with the words she used. Rhea is capable too, she just needs to prepare well!
Unfortunately, Daisy did not nail the Q&A.

I absolutely hated the camera work. The camera for most part was limited and fixed on the centre, which mean that only some girls/TG were visible. No close up shots, not wide angle shots, no dynamic range...flat and uninspiring visuals !
There was definitely no time limit in the Q&A. And ironically, it worked against tge contestants. They were allowed to give long, watered-down answers.
