Susmita Sen won Miss Universe at the age of 18. And she completed her reign with grace. So saying that miss Myanmar is young and only 18 is not an excuse. She just feels entitled and acted like a spoilt brat. Period!

As a Myanmar person, I would like to make sure all of you know that most Myanmar people actually hated the participation of MGI. Because civil wars are raging all over the country and innocent citizens are getting killed brutally by military left and right. But she didn't represent the current situation of the country and only spoke about Plastic while the topic is "Stop the war". Myanmar people who are attacking Winner and other contestants are people who support the military and ignore the suffering of their own kind. She is just a disgrace for our country from the start even before the drama happened. Please make yourself clear that most Myanmar people don't hate the winner, we actually think she deserves it. And sorry for body shaming comments made by our people whose brain cells are near zero.

Ms. India and our queen CJ do not deserved all the bashing they received because all of the candidates did their best to compete in the pageant. They body shame our queen CJ saying flat chest and all, it hurts to see those negative comments. Lets stop these negativity and instead lets spread love and positivity.

    📌📌📌📌📌📌📌
    1. Myanmar is at war but when Miss Myanmar was answered, she answered about plastic instead of talking about peace in her country, and her solution was to use paper instead of plastics! That was not a smart solution. Don't tell that she's afraid to talk about the war in her country. Look at her eyes and her personality. She is not a person who is afraid to say anything.
    2. The best national costume judging is based on both voting and judges'scores. It’s not only from the VOTE. So why does Miss Myanmar thinks she deserves the best national costume? (The national costume of Miss Myanmar is about warriors even though the concept of the contest is to end the war)
    3. Miss Myanmar said on her FB live 27.10.24 that she came to compete in this beauty pageant to be number one, not to come second to anyone!!! From what Miss Myanmar said on LIVE , she thinks she deserves almost everything, including the crown, best national costume, popular vote, and Country’s Power. Her attitude was not suitable for being a beauty queen at all.
    4. Miss Myanmar took her camera and walk away while a Latin beauty queen was greeting to her Myanmar fans while she had Live. Miss Myanmar didn’t even have basic manners !!!
    5. Why did Miss Myanmar think Thailand was not suitable for Country’s Power? Thailand has been one of the world's beauty pageant superpowers for over 20 years. Myanmar people should know that being a Country’s Power is not just about commenting on Facebook or TT.
    6. The organizer revealed that in the national costume round, two Latin beauties accidentally stepped over the Myanmar national costume. Then, Miss Myanmar showed bulging eyes and immediately fell to the ground. Everyone has provided first aid, but she was not better. During that time, Miss Myanmar said that the two beauties had to apologize her and her national costume!!! Miss Myanmar made the national costume round chaotic with her drama.
    7. Miss Myanmar violates pageant rules. There was a Myanmar makeup artist on the makeup team of the pageant who secretly used Dior cosmetics on Miss Myanmar instead of cosmetics from Thai brand that sponsored the pageant. The makeup artist who witnessed the incident didn't tell the beauty pegeant because she thought it was already dramatic enough with Miss Myanmar.
    8. ND Myanmar said on FB live that he paid Mr.Nawat 25,000 US dollars and Mr.Nawat would give the crown, popular vote to Miss Myanmar!!!Please wake up!!! Mr.Nawat is ranked 6th among the richest business owners in the Thai entertainment industry. Mr.Nawat made more than 25000 US dollars profit/ one LIVE stream with beauties or celebrities. The funniest thing is that Myanmar people believed their ND who paid 25000 US dollar for vote and will win the crown!!! How do you think that MGI organization with a stock market value of 300000000 US dollars will lose its reputation for 25000 dollars?
    9. Mr.Nawat said during the interview on 27.10.24. It was not true that ND Myanmar paid 250,000 US dollar for vote and Miss Myanmar will get the crown. Do not believe it. MGI would never do such a stupid thing like that. Mr. Nawat stated that ND Myanmar still owes the third installment payment that was paid in installments to MGI.
    10. More than 80 percent of Myanmar people who made rude comments on MGI official page, bullied Miss India, posted pictures of coffins and put Mr.Nawat's picture on it should stop. Please learn to be happy for others' success.

She went live and said she has no hate toward miss India and Philippines but she unfollowed India right after the results.. how unprofessional of her. Yes, she is an 18 year old who is probably still understanding life and absolutely not mature enough to realize what she has done. But I don't understand what her national director was thinking. I think this this years MGI was the fairest it has ever been, it is so obvious that India owned the night that day. And some lady from her team came live and said Myanmar was more BEAUTIFUL and better than Philippines - like are you kidding me!!!!
Miss Myanmar also mentioned she was supposed to win best national costume - WHY?? Her costume malfunctioned!!!! She was crying for that!!! As someone from Myanmar, I’m honestly glad things turned out this way. Both Miss Myanmar and her national director deserve all the criticism they're getting. Their fans are some of the most toxic around, right up there with supporters of the military dictatorship. Most people in Myanmar don’t have the mental bandwidth to support her or beauty pageants in general, especially with the ongoing civil war and recent floods. And yet they just look away, acting like nothing's wrong back home. Now, they’re desperately trying to cover up their Miss's and ND's shortcomings, making up any nonsense to avoid taking responsibility. If you’re curious, check out the live streams by Miss Myanmar and her national director. I think there are translated ones. It’s eye-opening.

With 71 competitive contestants, it was one of the most challenging Miss Universe pageants ever. Losing at that age isn't the end; many have gone on to successful careers, like becoming supermodels. As a Myanmar citizen, i feel embarassed. For me, even if you think you are right, just solve the problem behind the scene. This act is really disrepectful towards other peagents too especially India and Phillipines. I hope people don't misunderstood that all Myanmar people support what they did.

Myanmar is a beautiful country... I had visited some 15-20 years back... To know you all are suffering so much my heart goes out to you all and my prayers as well... I can understand how scary any kind of wars can be and for people who are power hungry putting the lives of innocent civilians at stake is definitely heart wrenching... truly speaking I wished that getting such a huge platform if the contestant from your country could have spoken about the concerned issue at hand but then seeing her nature I can see why she spoke about a topic not so relevant in gear to what Myanmar is currently unfortunately facing... being from India and understanding how these wars can destroy a country completely I only pray this ends soon and in peace for all so that no more innocent lives are lost further. Also a country can never be judged by the nature and mannerisms of a few people... there are some Burmese ladies I know who have the most beautiful souls I have ever come across. Prayers for peace for all of you there.

I loved her national costume bc it portrayed one of a very ancient legendary burma queen but if you compared with others, it just looked quite plain and didn't bring anything to the table. She mentioned that she wasn't acting up bc she gets the second runner up but bc she think that she deserved the national costumes and country's power cuz she got the highest votes. (Honestly you can clearly see her face dropped when she got second runner up.) Ofc mgm and her nd can be emotional but Im sure they could be more professional than that instead of making a scene. To some people in the comment section: I am a Burmese from Myanmar. I accept that the contestant was very poor mannered and because of her, the ND's and so many Burmeses' action have caused critism to the county. I don't blame for the critism cuz if the other country did this, I would have judged too. But the point is, IT IS NOT OK TO TELL THAT A COUNTRY DESERVED TO BE WAR TORN OR HAVE UNSTOPPABLE CIVIL WARS. As a person living in such country, such type of comments is just too painful to read. If you have not encountered the uncertainty of being alive tmr, trust me you won't know how much despair you will feel and how much you wish the war to end. Words do matter. Don't be someone who break another person's hope. If you tell Myanmar deserves conflicts, it is the same you are telling "I wish children women and many decent men die today".

Twice the Philippines experienced that we think that the Philippines should've won from Nicole and Sam.. but it's Nawat's choice business is business even though 🇵🇭 is popular and can win the popular vote.. we cannot stop fans from ranting their opinions and that made such a lukewarm acceptance of Filipino towards MGI, but Nicole and Sam accepted it with confidence and composure, that makes them admirable.. This 2024 somehow🇮🇳 is deserving, and 🇵🇭 can accept to any woman who deserves to win..
CJ did her best to represent the 🇵🇭 and that made Filipino being proud of how she handle the situation amidst controversies about cooking show..She represents 🇵🇭 well enough mediating the grievances of Filipinos towards MGI.
It would be a lesson for Ms Myanmar, that it's not always luck to be on our side.. she should be grateful for the experiences being with those accomplished ladies around the globe and learn a thing from them.. since she's young those people from her team should advise her to accept it with composure and should be grateful that from so many candidates atleast as young as her belong to top 3 that is a big accomplishment that she should be proud of and can be put in her resume..but with what is happening it could backlash to her in the future.. I saw a video of her that someone is trying to make her calm during a national costume.. she's like having an anger issue maybe out of frustration..she should be mindful of her action, true enough she's not emotionally mature to accept losses and defeat..

He wouldn't give it to us because of that mentality. It's giving jealousy and envy. Our country always places because our women are hardworking and naturally beautiful with an intellegent mind. The owner of MGI blocked our supposed wins. If you want to have more placing and wins, don't have that mentality. It's not about giving more chances, its about hardwork. It's pathetic hearing that from other contestants. "Give chance to others". No, it's a damn contest. Plus india has one several times. You act like your country doesnt win. "Give chance to other 🥺" my ass.

    • @tareshhh
      @tareshhh 5 дней назад

@@unniebunny2551 why you're getting riled up, dude chill out. instead of getting hurt , accept the reality. so basically you're trying to say is filipinos are the only one's that work hard. bruh every model works hard to win for their country. if ph is that good why doesn't it just win all the pageants or make ur own pageant and keep crowning ph models. there is a proper jury and everything is transparent. your argument sounds so silly and immature i bet you're a teen and it would be even more embarassing if you're not. also It was the first time India won MGI so another correction.
Secondly if filipinos are so proud of their culture and beauty why craving for foreign men? Why it has the one biggest red light areas and s*x tourism industry? now don't come at me saying because filipinas are beautiful. that's not beauty. that's selling one's body
secondly as you said organisations don't give enough credit to filipino models maybe that's because they don't believe they would have growth in ph because ph is already a well established big market for modelling, less chances of further growth. i mean all the reviews or reaction videos on the internet are of filipinos. Not even one of them said that the Indian didn't deserve it. Every filipino was praising her in the comments and was saying she genuinely deserved it.
Try to build upon your culture so that people can't ignore ph. Following kpop and korean culture won't help. Spotify top hits or netflix top hits in ph are either korean or american. try boosting your own movie/pop industry. try wearing your own cultural clothes like india got lehengas, sarees which women wear on daily basis. you were talking about natural beauty then why korean makeup brands have their biggest market in Indonesia and ph. why japan enjoys such a great goodwill in ph while what they did in ph during the ww2 was unimaginable. ever read about manila mas*acre?
all I'm saying is build upon your culture and soft power and you would achieve great success. geopolitics play a huge role in that. don't get bullied by china and their water guns rather sm*sh their 💀 with a Bamboo stick like india does whenever they come into our territory.
I never found a rude filipino until today, I personally know dozens of them. i believe the country has a great future if people start being more conscious about spreading their own culture instead of accepting others.

I think Miss India and Miss Philippines deserve the crowns and their placements. The people who are hating Cj and Miss India rn are people who has the peanut brains. Most of the people from our country don't hate them. Our country is having the civil war currently. The Q&A was about "Stop the war". She can just answer about our country but she didn't. If she answered, the military would arrest her family and her when she come back to our country. So, she answered about plastic not about the war rn. For the NC, most of the people say she is making a drama. In my opinion, I just think she cried cuz the cart that she and her team made can not fits on the stage. They spent lots of time for it. It reflects poorly on the judges in her country that chose her to be Miss Myanmar n represent their country....she's given her country a very bad reputation on a Global platform....hope they deal with her sternly.
Even after being chosen 3rd runner up she walked out of the stage n thus her crown n dash were pulled from her n revoked, bringing her n her country more shame.

The fact that she’s only 18 years old and there are other GREATER and BIGGER pageant like the BIG 4 Pageants, that she could join and maybe win. She forgot that losing in a competition is not a failure, it may be her redirection to join and compete to other bigger pageants such Miss Universe or Miss World. Exactly, well said Luis... a good example of 18 year Olds that are mature and accept defeat as I always like to mention, would be 2018's Miss Universe Venezuela who became 2nd RU... so mature, very demure and acted accordingly till today she has never said or done anything controversial. At 18 you know what's wrong and right... she deserves whatever she's going through together with her National Director who is a grown ass men but acts like a 10 yr old girl... this was the only pageant they were successful in and they destroyed all of that in a minute. The saddest thing is now everyone will view girls from Myanmar in any pageant as a drama queen. She stole an important moment from someone. She could have just tried keeping it in and cried in her hotel room with her ND and not cause a scene like that.

I absolutely agree with what you’ve said. This isn’t just about one competitor , it’s a collective effort and she’s still very young to be handling so much pressure. They must be prepared for either outcome, win or lose. Your explanation of Miss Myanmar’s behavior is spot on. In a few years, as she matures and grows spiritually, she may look back and regret those impulsive actions. I hope she learns and grows from this experience .

Exactly. I agree to everything to what u said. She was not emotionally matured. I mean lets say that she is 18 but what about her team and national director. How can they act the same way as her. Her team should have supported her and said thats she did great.
And besides she is not like the only candidate who is 18 and participated in pagents. There have been many queens throughout. So defending her with just her age is not right. And teen pagents exists as well. We dont see any such behaviour before. And i also wonder like didn't she hear like india and philippines answer? I mean they didnt even use headphones or anything. So if she was intelligent she should have known that their answers were better than her. I dont personally belive that they created all this drama because she didnt win powerhouse or most popular. She was fine when those results were announced. Anyways its sad seeing her acting this impulsive and kind of destroying her own career. The myanmer national team will only be there with her for a year. After her reign ends they will move own unlike her.

It shows that emotional maturity is not based on age. It's based on experience and proper preparation. Drita had competed in Miss Globe 2022 before competing in Miss Earth 2023.

At this point, even "fall from grace" is a huge understatement. While I do feel that the candidate should still be held accountable for her actions (I mean she's 18, stop infantilizing her like she's half that age) and criticize her for her shortsightedness and self-centered behavior, I blame the ND more for practically grooming this candidate, reinforcing her sense of entitlement instead of fostering maturity. Most embarrassing thing to happen in pageantry in a while and they're not even a powerhouse country. And to their compatriots who are blindly allegiant and still support and defend this mess of a duo, y'all need to reevaluate the values you uphold because everything these two have done post-finals has just been reprehensible and embarrassing to the point of being laughable. Their sheer lack of self-awareness is just ridiculous.
