Hey Tom. Reepicheep is the mouse knight from the Narnia series - Voyage of the Dawntreader and Prince Caspian.
He went into the sweet sea, didn't he? A hero of legends.
@@Ali-ey9sz Over the standing wave at the edge of the world, yes. And then I'm pretty sure he shows up in the Afterlife after the Last Battle, which kind of just makes me think that "exiting the world" like that is effectively just dying but with another name.
His end was a bit weird, but he was brave and true throughout. A legend indeed.
Why does Lewis always have the best characters
I havent finished the video, but I hope that the reveal once they leave home is that Eduardo _doesn't actually_ have one arm.
Its just an act to make him seem battle-scarred and heroic.
The moment that they step foot out of the city, Eduardo wipes away all the facial scars with his "missing" arm and reveals that its all just makeup.
I feel like I'm watching wheel boy going on an adventure 😂
I was also thinking about the "kid" from the Planeswalker video.
I do so miss him. He turned into a total badass at the end and it was so much fun to watch
It’s nice to see Briony in a mystery quest would be cool to see her again in future campaigns
We need Briony, Rythian and Kirsty on at one point all together. It would be good to see Rythian as a player rather than a supposedly sadistic DM

Got to say I've been liking the new camera setup they have been using these past couple of episodes. The frame rate/refresh rate have been buttery smooth

I’m running my first DnD campaign next week as we couldn’t find a DM and I’m hoping to do as well as Tom in the sense of the „you do you” approach and bending the rules for shits and giggles

Good RPG setting so far, I like the creativity with using stuff a mouse could carry. The penny shield is an awesome idea!

The variety in tone and setting is definitely a major strength of Mystery Quest.

I'd been hoping they would play Mausritter, it's such a well designed and charming game. Excited for the next episode!

Loving this setting, getting the penny armor and climbing gear especially helped imagine it.
The cheering of the crowd is deafening,
You look around at the crowd you`ve drawn.
More than expected for an underground ring match
Suddenly the cheering picks up and you can hear the beginning of a chant
You only got into these fights to make money for your sick daughter.
You look over to the poor sap you`ll face today.
You freeze, your heart drops, as you see a massive Gorilla
You realize YOURE the sap
Oh no, it`s Big Bad Bonano, the most lethal opponent in the underground circuit.

Great show. I just realized there were no dice rolls the whole show. I can’t wait for things to go wild next time.
Tom said that traveling a mile takes most of a day, but according to a study from the 1970s mice have a top speed of around 8 mph when running... which means they are actually about as fast as a human. I doubt a mouse would be able to run for an entire mile, they're not exactly marathon runners, but I would still expect mice to be able to do a mile in an hour tops if they went at a more sustainable pace.
I expect more realism out of this game about talking animals!!!
