This fragrance is all about the drydown... First 30 mins it's brutal but the rest is a smooth vanillic leathery creamy fresh fragrance.... Give it time it gets better

I blind bought this and I'm not sure it's for me. I'm very picky about lemon, and I'm not the biggest fan of the lemon they used. It comes across very chemical-like to me when combined with the leather. Its quite abrasive. I'll give it a few more tries and see if my thoughts change.
You mentioned Clarins and it reminded me of that red bottle of Eau Dynamisante that my father kept in his car to fight the cigar smell. Weird smell, but I loved it. Same for Habit Rouge 😂

i sprayed it 3 times to my wrist felt it all daylong. when i was sleeping it waked me up. i felt really bad. it almost poisoned me. i washed my wrist with soap really hard. i still smelled it. just 1 spray is more than enough

IMO Habit Rouge Rouge Prive is one of the greatest flankers ever made along side ADG Profumo. They way the updated the HR DNA and modernised it was a masterpiece. The leather accord is actually borrowed from Gucci Guilty Aboslute.
Once again, Aaron demonstrated why he’s a reviewer and not a content creator/influencer. Showcasing the technical skills of the fragrance’s perfumer, and not giving a quantitative review because it doesn’t suit him is as fair as it gets.
Privé is defnitely more modern and refined version of Habit Rouge, but if you don't like the Habit Rouge DNA, then you would not like this. It's a hard pass for me.

This smells like the original used to smell in the 80s. It is vintage and superior if you like HR.
