The efforts to resuscitate the refineries started six years ago under the Buhari administration and has now been completed under the Tinubu administration. Nigerians should give credits where they are due. APC government has succeeded where PDP government repeatedly failed. These are facts. Bad belle people trying to credit Dangote for these milestones achievements should go and sit down.
Tinubu… Transfer the management of these refineries to private sector managers. These governments workers are woofs. Please please please. Nigeria civil servants don’t have the mindset to manage this kind of complex facility transparently.
@diy_villagee Really? For how long? I am saying the last time dealers actually had the privilege to lift or buy products was way back 2013. Do you know how many people who became properly poor as a result of the breakdown or short down? Their money were trapped in the system of the Refinery after they paid for the products they were supposed to buy
I hope this will drastically reduce the pump price of petrol, because all this #10, #50 reduction would not make any significant difference. I hope an average Nigerian will feel the positive impacts on the prices of goods and services that have already made life unbearable for citizens😢
Even if it reduces without toning down the dollar rate will give room to smuggling across the border again thereby causing queues across the country again, the way forward now is massively strengthening the naira and with time the price shouldn’t be above 350 to 400 a liter.
Reduce to what exactly? Some of you Just type without sense The buy oil in usd and sell pms less than a dollar, one of the cheapest in the world but it’s not ok you want fr free
@@henryeghaghara9385 you’re the one typing without sense with due respect, what is dollar worth to Nigerians today, what is the standard of living, minimum wage is barely 45dollar, what’s Nigerians purchasing power today? The fact that it’s lower than a dollar doesn’t mean people can afford it, that’s why if you read my reply, reducing the price without strengthening the naira won’t work but still it has to be reduced, our survival as a nation hangs on the Naira.

It took Dangote's refinery coming on line to get NNPC to get its act together in regards to turning around our refineries. Why couldn't they do this 5 years ago.
Will you shut your mouth right there. The government has been working on the refineries for almost five years now independent of whatever Dangote is doing with his private refinery. Learn to give credit where it is due
Events that are taken for granted in serious minded countries are turned into a big deal in Nigeria. I can not understand why the whole show is being exhibited for a refinery to do what it is established to do
Many of u in dis comments section no happy. Una no get talk again, una no even believe say PH own go work, now Warri own.. only tyn i dey hear from una now, na Dangote make dem do dis n dat. Bitter pple
The way we facts-checked the said Nigeria airways to be fake. This news and the Refinery has been fact-checked to be true. BUT NOT fully in operation or 100% tested. But it has commence at least.
If NNPCL says is 60 percent completed, We should be Expecting 20 to 30 percent work done. All the same congratulations to the team and Mr President for their little efforts, we are expecting more. God bless Nigeria

That liquid seen on the floor is a serious safety hazard. Should have been taken care of. Speaks to the lackadaisical attitude of workers towards safety standards in Nigeria 😂😂😂
I’m a Yorubaman to the core but I think Mr Akinyilure is too hold for this office. I can tell he’s in his 70s or 80s. Please appoint a more vibrant person from any part of our country to replace him, preferably an Igbo extraction since they are already marginalized on that board.
That place look unkept. This is where you spent billions of dollars to ? cracked pillars, untarred floor. Using nakedr hands to collect samples ?? where is your gloves ?
When 8t was not working you were making noise. Now that it is working you are talking of Dangote. At least it helps eliminate monopoly. And if you have engineers in your village who can turn it around in two weeks you can recommend them to the FG to make the remaining three work by next week😂😂😂😂😂😂
@ahmedadigun1930 If your village had a measure of sense, why would they spend 1.2 billion dollars for turn-around maintenance when they can build a new refinery and the refinery is only producing palm wine for those who are corrupted drinkers. Your village people - government corruption. I can see how your village people are thinking.
Asiwaju is leading on, two refineries coming back to life. unimaginable. This is incredible
Am sure you are not well
I know you're not happy@@agomauvietobore8280

Let's stop blaming anyone, if the refineries are gradually coming back to life it's a welcome idea.

Make Nigeria great again
The last time this Refinery ever worked was early 2013
Unbelievable
It worked in 2018.
@diy_villagee Really?
For how long? I am saying the last time dealers actually had the privilege to lift or buy products was way back 2013. Do you know how many people who became properly poor as a result of the breakdown or short down?
Their money were trapped in the system of the Refinery after they paid for the products they were supposed to buy
@ yes. I did my intenship there in 2018 and they were producing several products excluding PMS
@diy_villagee Oh, that's nice. Was it just a test run or it was in commercial quantity?
Where are ARISETV AND OBIFRAUD?
They will say PMS should be 70/lit
They will doubt it
They are Nay sayer
PBAT.... Oko Iya won
They enjoy reporting negatives. Useless station.
Oga how much and where can I buy

U guys want Rufai and Arise TV to start 2025 on a sad note, ba?
It took Dangote's refinery coming on line to get NNPC to get its act together in regards to turning around our refineries. Why couldn't they do this 5 years ago.
well said
Good point but the major reasons for nnpc refineries working now is actually the removal of the fuel subsidy
Don't mind them, its corruption na
Will you shut your mouth right there. The government has been working on the refineries for almost five years now independent of whatever Dangote is doing with his private refinery.
Learn to give credit where it is due
Is it because the PDP government you supported in the past failed at resuscitation of the refineries. Shame on you.
Events that are taken for granted in serious minded countries are turned into a big deal in Nigeria. I can not understand why the whole show is being exhibited for a refinery to do what it is established to do
This is Nigeria not other countries deal with that
Are you not current enough to know some refinery's short down recently abroad. Yet we are reviving ours.
Many of u in dis comments section no happy. Una no get talk again, una no even believe say PH own go work, now Warri own.. only tyn i dey hear from una now, na Dangote make dem do dis n dat. Bitter pple
Nigeria is working under tinubu God bless our president
Where are the so-called "Obidient" noisemakers? Tinubu is actively working as president, and it seems we won't hear anything about this on Arise News.
U be mumu, don't be decieve by this audio show off.
you guys used exactly the same phrase on the second Niger bridge. We were all here when all you said was “ audio project “.
Bring RUFAI AND ARISETV ANS OBIDIOTS😂😂
Don't worry time will tell, don't be too hurry to insult people who didn't make any decisions that brought pain to Nigerians
Trust these guys at your own risk! How far with Nigerian Airways that was commissioned without airplane to fly. I can only wish Nigeria well.
😂😂😅
The way we facts-checked the said Nigeria airways to be fake. This news and the Refinery has been fact-checked to be true. BUT NOT fully in operation or 100% tested. But it has commence at least.

U wish, u r not happy, all u all pray is 4 dis govt to fail, so u will justify ur earlier brags about tinubu being a failure. But, instead make tinubu fail, make u u kpai.
Let's wait for true report in 2 months from now, then we will know if this is true or same lamba
why can't the refineries work 100 percent why is only work for percent.
It is under reconstruction that's why they use that word 60% level.
Blending petroleum and refining are 2 different things. These guys are playing on the ignorance of many Nigerians
What is the difference?😅
Better stop shaming your sense. Which school did you go?
U just want to speak english, u don't even understand wat u said.
That liquid seen on the floor is a serious safety hazard. Should have been taken care of. Speaks to the lackadaisical attitude of workers towards safety standards in Nigeria 😂😂😂
Serious safety issue! That shows there’s no workplace health and safety plans!
Ok o. Make una no do us the more you look, the less you see. My concern is the price of PMS going down drastically.

Shotup!! You are igbo. Why you denying your tribe. You don't even need to mention tribe sef. Yeye!!
His age doesn't matter if his health can. It's not good to be shutting people up, whatever anybody feels,it's his or her opinion.
Wetin you dey write, wetin be hold? Or you mean old. Anyway, the president will appoint you, make you dey spell nonsense for office , no worry.
Nigeria is working: I hope this PMS is not from malta
Hmmmm,
I hope they give it to private sector run this Refinery?
Fake if NNPC say is morning time go and check your time 😮
Not as clean as Dangote's
propaganda, sadly.
Funny country.
see the way refineries are coming up because of Dangote, all the refineries including Kaduna were working this people knew what they were doing
THIS IS THE EFFECT OF SUBSIDY REMOVAL. It makes the refining business more attractive.
Nigerias my confused country
Igbo with negativity always
That place look unkept. This is where you spent billions of dollars to ? cracked pillars, untarred floor. Using nakedr hands to collect samples ?? where is your gloves ?
That is another job but your observation is noted but did NOT change the fact they refinery are now waking up.
STORY, STORY. When is the price coming down ?
Joker's.
Everything is now working because Dangote is working.
Joker's.
But the question should be, why is everything working in PBAT’s hand?
Tinubu is a success.
When 8t was not working you were making noise. Now that it is working you are talking of Dangote. At least it helps eliminate monopoly. And if you have engineers in your village who can turn it around in two weeks you can recommend them to the FG to make the remaining three work by next week😂😂😂😂😂😂
