I love Shinedown. Their live show is amazing. This was great. I teared up when Brent was talking about his mom & dad and also his son. They all seem like awesome people.
I love Brents Emotion!! And I here it in Their Music!!! Shinedown is An AMAZING , GREAT , FULL OF HEART BAND!!! I just love them even more after watching this💙👍🎵🎤🎸🎿
Amazing music, saw them twice in 2019 and their music has been an important part of my healing during a horrendous divorce after 23 years. Would love to hear all the unreleased material they discussed. Rock on!
Such a talented band!! It’s been a long time since I’ve been so into a band. And when I was it was never like this band. I listen to them everyday . Every chance I get I listen to them and watch their interviews. They are so sweet and smart to boot. Just a down to earth inspirational band for all ages. They always make me feel better when I’m down🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
I seen them a few years ago in Loveland, Colorado Budweiser event center a friend bought us tickets and I was hesitant to go to a rock concert, but I was completely blown away by them, and of course, Brett’s voice, which was off the chart incredible very technical he is a true artist, and that band is simply amazing. I have been hooked ever since!
Brent, your parents gave you great advice and you had the guts to follow through! Most people don't have the guts to grab the reins and run full out! Congratulations to you all on your smashing success!
Here's a question: Around the 39 minute mark, Eric talked about not revisiting old songs and Amaryllis having the "strongest set of songs youve enever heard". Come to the Covid era, Shinedown revisited their song 'Atlas Falls' for their partnering with Direct Relief. Could the release of 'Atlas Falls' open up access for visiting other unreleased songs or no?
It's official Brent's son lyric can date my daughter! While Shinedown was her first favorite rock band at 9, 4 years ago, at she loves Rage! We are raising our kids right
I think it's out of respect he doesn't like talking about him and the bad stuff. When he talks about LAW and good things he brings him up & Brad giving them credit on writing with him in other interviews.
I've never said i thought you'd be taller! To any of you or Barry! But my tall ass roommate i brought to a meet and greet does indeed look super goofy next to yall
well you can tell the song was unexpected and it’s such a small room with most likely less than 100 people and not loud enough like their concerts. They can’t go all out. The actual song is amazing though. Definitely better in concert with atleast 2000+ people in a big auditorium
He sees as the other mans son is his too. Ewww thats sharing...i guess sharing is caring...my sis does the same thing. Theres no way. Theres no telling what they do haha yuck.
I worked as a stagehand for a gig those guys did here in Birmingham, Alabama last weekend. It was the second time I've seen them live. They leave it all on stage and seem to really appreciate their audience, which is always admirable, but after a thorough RUclips deep dive, I just can't seem to make myself like their music. I think it's because Brent's lyrics are way too obvious and corny, like pop music, and it was lame as fuck how they started sounding like Imagine Dragons when that type of music got big. Just a suggestion, but when rock 'n roll is in a shitty place, dont adapt to fit into that place. If artists continue to change their sound to pacify the masses, most of whom don't know dick about music, then that shitty music will never go away. Also, the self importance in the lyrics is nauseating. I've seen all Chris Porter's standup, and I find it hard to believe he actually likes their music.
I love Shinedown. Their live show is amazing. This was great. I teared up when Brent was talking about his mom & dad and also his son. They all seem like awesome people.
Omg to hear Erics voice is awesome. Eric, Zach n Brent all sing awesome....need to hear Barry sing now!!
Brent's gritty voice is sounding a lot healthier here then it has in a while :) It's also nice to hear Zach and Eric's voices clearer then usual!
I love Brents Emotion!! And I here it in Their Music!!! Shinedown is An AMAZING , GREAT , FULL OF HEART BAND!!! I just love them even more after watching this💙👍🎵🎤🎸🎿
I loved this band when I was growing up.
As an adult going through a difficult time, I'm glad I rediscovered them.
Anyone else notice that when Brent said "it's emotional, man," he was trying not to cry?
Brought a tear to my eye 😢 it’s an awesome interview in general tho !
I totally teared up at that part and can relate so much to his statement and situation at that time. This was an awesome interview! 🙌🏻
Yes I thought I was going to cry 😭😭😭😭😭😭
I choked up too listening to him telling the story.
These Guys are amazing. I love how humble they are, I also love how silly. I hope I get to meet them someday 😍😍
Me too!
Miracle Eady Right there with you! ❤️
Theyre the sweetest guys you'll ever meet and Brently gives the best hugs ever!
He is so respectful of his son's mother and that is AMAZING!
Amazing music, saw them twice in 2019 and their music has been an important part of my healing during a horrendous divorce after 23 years. Would love to hear all the unreleased material they discussed. Rock on!
Know what your saying, going through some very emotional heartbreaking things myself, I always just put on Shinedown & it helps.

YES!! Love this band and Brent Smith so much!! He is my celebrity crush 100%. I do agree that we should hear Barry sing that would be great.
Love when you can hear Brent's southern accent come through at times when he speaks.

Zach that's my favorite word too!!!!
1:25:44 is the best thing I heard that night 😂
I didn’t realize how much I liked Chris Porter until this. 😂
He certainly does bring me joy
Zachs favourite word 🤣🤣🤣🤣
I loved this so much! But come on, Brent is flying 😂
The interview was awesome. The music was super muffled.
Okay but this guy is a GIANT compared to the Shinedown boys
Who?
@@Cara-nt7ef who do you think? There is literally 1 other person on that stage.
Brent I didn't know second chance was about you I still love it cuz it's the truth
It's official Brent's son lyric can date my daughter! While Shinedown was her first favorite rock band at 9, 4 years ago, at she loves Rage! We are raising our kids right
who checked the fighter jet thing with devil? I did and i don't hear it.
@@TylerBaker1994 I honestly thought that was Brent. damn im the worst at sounds.
@@briandnowak5792 I also thought it was Brent!! now I'm kinda frustrated that it isn't, haha
Wait
“You’re a puppy!” 😍
I’m curious, when did Zach Myers joined Shinedown?
Hello Ace
Eric you look very nice with your sweater and Star Wars reference.
Still a fantastic acoustic!!!!
pause right at 9:08
58:16
Another shinedown thought. How bout they remake gimme some lovin by traffic. That'd be kick ass.
Jason Todd getting a small mention in passing, Brent says nothing 😳
I think it's out of respect he doesn't like talking about him and the bad stuff. When he talks about LAW and good things he brings him up & Brad giving them credit on writing with him in other interviews.
I think if my name was Chris Brown, I’d go by Christopher so there’s no confusion.
🤤🤤🤤Brent Smith🤤🤤🤤
I like Eric's backup vocals on this version of Sound Of Madness better than Zach's. #sorrynotsorry #maybealittlebit
I've never said i thought you'd be taller! To any of you or Barry! But my tall ass roommate i brought to a meet and greet does indeed look super goofy next to yall
Great song. But the sound/mixing is terrible. Don't judge the boys on this version of a great song.
well you can tell the song was unexpected and it’s such a small room with most likely less than 100 people and not loud enough like their concerts. They can’t go all out. The actual song is amazing though. Definitely better in concert with atleast 2000+ people in a big auditorium
Hold on while I go listen to devil.
Yeah that’s interesting
Haha youre young zach says n zach is 35 5 yr older haha n chris is like youre a puppyyyy haha
You anit the judge and jury
Go Zac
Love you can't stop
