I grew up on a dairy farm and as an adult milked cows for my dad on his dairy in the 80s and 90s work that helped to teach me all about hard work and made me a man
God bless you hard working family I am also a small scale organic farmer. I am 4th generation farmer and first organic. We have cows, horses and some pigs. Best wishes from Easter Island.
Our families, and our country were so much better when more people were seeking a good life. Comfort, like happiness, are the rewards for doing something right. Clearly they have accomplished that!
Very nice video of family working together living a clean healthy life Reminds me of my mother's family farm My grandfather great uncle and Uncle all worked the farm .My grandmother did all the cooking .Huge meals for lunch .Made me want to live the same lifestyle My son and I farm together now We grow vegetables
I just stumbled across this film and LOVE it!! Reminds me of our family farm in southern Minnesota. Like these brothers, our dear father worked 24/7 and yet, it was a great growing up for us all. Thanks for sharing this!!! ;o)
Oh my, this brings to mind memories of how I grew up. It was next to dairy farm. Registered Holstein cows. They milked 42 and grew most of the feed. From my 9th year I guess I was there every chance I got. That was in the 40s and 50s and I loved it.
Absolutely fantastic. I just purchased our acreage and am working toward this. Simple, not technically advanced....life blessed by a touching of nature.
When there is no one to take over it is especially sad. You put your everything into building up the farm. The corrupt government is there like a vulture to take what you slaved for.
Sad that in today's world a small debt free farm like that will die and be no more. My friend and his dad milk 60 head a day and his dad wants to retire. He cant afford to buy it. So sad.
My hat goes off to you. I have farmed all my life , but I am a grain farmer. I have never experienced the kind of work you do but you have my respect.
