I love the Skyhawk design, been trying to get a Skyhawk wagon, love them! PS: These first gen J body cars can be engine swapped with the Buick 3800 V6. It's a tight fit, but the 3800 bolts right up to the stock transmission, and all you really need to do is swap out the ECU/ECM and the fuel pump. Much of the wiring harness, although needing to be lengthened, can be re-used, and the extra wiring is fairly easy to add. All you really need to do is fabricate engine mounts. there is a guy in the first gen J body facebook group who did it, and if you modify the hood, you might even be able to fit the supercharged 3800
They are surprisingly hard to find without massive rust holes everywhere. The rockers on this look bad, but only the covers. Other than the rocker covers, there isn't really any rust anywhere
I lost it when you dropped all 3 wing nuts.😂
Lawn tractor fuel pump!😮😅
I got my first car in 1991 and it was a 1987 Sunbird GT in dark grey (manual transmission). I loved that car so much.
good morning! stunning shots- godspeeed,)
Thanks I am restoring a 1986 pontiac sunbird
Good job. You don’t see. That. Year. Anymore. My brother. Had. One. Thanks
I bought a 87 Buick Skyhawk from the junkyard. Drove it from Dallas to Memphis. Only had two blowouts a a thermostat stick. She made it home safely

@@LowSpecActionSquadI was thinking about swapping an Iron Duke into one of these from a Fiero donor car. Wonder if it will fit?
You should have done a video on the skyhawk
I always wanted one of these and the Cav Z24s are getting very hard to find these days…

@@LowSpecActionSquad Only ones you still see around are the stupid convertibles and I don’t like how they changed the body style of the 90s Sunbirds…
hah. RatBird....you drive... a pontiac pidgeon.
I’m surprised the junkyard sold you the car, usually they won’t
Privately owned yard, guy plays it fast and loose. Title wasn't even junked yet, it was still clean and clear
Why hello there!
