Good job guys as always, Leon you and Cecil makes a good team as usual, Cecil and his rigging experiences from trinmar and you your experiences over the years, nothing can beat experience!! Anyways guys keep up the good work. Just one word of advice regarding OSHA..... PPE GUYS! 9Z4KA
Should have a nut bag to keep the pins and nuts on his climbing belt so when it needs pinned, you have your wrenches and nuts and bolts right there. Second thing, throwing a hammer up like that is kinda spooky as what IF the guy on the tower didn't catch it? Gravity in motion, and the guy on the ground is not wearing a hard hat. Either have the hammer on your climbing belt, OR, send the hammer up using a hand line, either way, hard hats should be used here.
leon what happen with a gin pole...thats dangerous what ya doing there man....the section may be light but a ginpole would be the way to go..I was nervous watching this video Mike C6ANX
@@jstep4146 Rohn 25 sections are light ( for me ) , so i am able to easily lift and manouver the section like that .... Not much ops are strong like me ... lol
Yes, he had a climbing belt on. He SHOULD also have a nut bag for his bolts and nuts, a wrench and a hand line, or a place on his climbing belt to hold his hammer when he needed it.
Its a short tower ( only 30ft ) , so i didnt want to weigh down myself with a hammer ... I do have a pouch on the belt that holds a spanner and a few other tools that i needed .
When my 50ft tower blew down, I put up an 'emergency" tower that was 30ft, and got identical performance due to the land dropping off 100 ft in 3 directions from my site, so I guess it depends a lot on topo.
Going to do the same very soon. So nice hearing you guys talk, KM6DHT. By the way, I lived in Chaguanas.

That is quite badass!
My complements to the "groundsman" who was pitching hammers & parts up the tower. Your arm is worthy of Olympic Competition.
Now dat was scary!!
too great
Do you need a permit to put a tower up even if its just a 20 foot or 25 Foot
No permit needed in my island
Nice video nice antenna setup there by the looks of it.. great stuff..James G0SEC

Did that guy just get out of prison.
Thats not the colour for prison overalls in my island
...How to ....THE HARD WAY!
And its ONLY 30 feet high ,not worth the trouble , 66feet is the smallest tower i would construct
