I used to watch greeny on Mike and Mike every day in high school like 04-07 and man, I love him. Now him and rusillo?! Oh absolutely.
The advice about listening is such a simple concept, but it’s amazing how rarely people do it. It’s an extremely underrated skill.
I agree and it’s something I thought I did well, but then I actually reflected and realized I wouldn’t shut up sometimes.
What did you say?
@@TrevorMU_such a simple concept but very hard in practice.
🫡 outstanding point!
I agree. It's amazing also the reaction you get on here simply posting an opinion (I even state that it's an opinion)----even a very viable one. People will come out of the woodwork and blast people's opinions---so not only listening, but I really think people have problems with even simpler things, such as reading.
Respect is lost in this culture because some of these things people will say on here they don't have the character to say in person:)
Respect Greeny. One of the cooler old guys at espn.
he's a complete nerd
Cooler? He’s the poster boy for all that is rotten on that god forsaken network.
I'm 49. This is my favorite Knicks team. Hart is my favorite Knick since Ewing. 🧡
Same here. I’m 47, lived and died with the 90’s Knicks. Right after they got Hart, I bought the Hart Nike jersey Tshirt. He is IT for me. The perfect personification of what it means to be a Knick.
Gonna end in 6 games. Second round exit is pretty cool!!

Russillo has been on a run of bangers lately, been so fun to watch!
“My job is to make you listen to the ads”… That’s exactly what RUclips and all social media are today as well. Great interview!
Hell yea! Love these two dudes... what a treat
Brunson is the greatest free agent signing by the Knicks ever
Love these podcasts hear two experts talk hoops and learn some life lessons
The last bit is gold, 3-4mins from the end. Greeny pays the best compliment to russillo, basically saying russillo makes nervous, and he values the opinionation of russillo.
I like Greenberg. He's the Evolutionary Bob Costas.
“Jalen Hart”😂
Dude like come on lol. Greenie is suppose to be a fan of the team and the guy has been around the league for years
@@cptsketch13 Still better than when SAS ranted about "some dude named Hartenstein"
While I clicked on this because the headline that I was presented said “Timberwolves Greeny, Game 4 and Life” which if I’m being honest I feel violated that my algorithm is this succinct.. I stayed because this was a rather exceptional conversation between two peers that was genuine. Thank you but dude how I got here is a bit f’d if you are asking….
Brunson is already an all-time great Knick, over Carmelo.
not a knick fan but i love Brunson. Totally embodies the knicks, tough, gritty, heart. Plays hurt unlike that soft doughboy Melo. Melo was out for the fame, not the game
@@blessembreaksYou literally just said a bunch of nonsense. And the reason is because you didn’t actually watch Melo, for years he dedicated himself to NY and was the only thing keeping us respectable despite the circus of an organization we were at the time. I’m so tired of these brain dead takes that act like it was Melo’s fault for Phil Jackson’s god awful management decisions
Can we stop that useless kind of comparison?! They're both great Knicks and we're happy about that.
Melo isnt an All-time great Knick.
@@WesleyMarsh9758 I watched Melo very closely. He turned the team into losers for years. Did you watch???
Jalen Hart is the best player in the league. Best clutch player in the league and the best defensive rebounder in the league!
Greenie is ageless. He's getting work. And he is stealing Costas voice.
It's the Josh Hart effect! That dude is like a comedian that is killin himself for the team❤
$1,000 says West Coast Ry will never use the double oven behind him.
This was special
Did Greenie say "Freakin" , not once but twice? Wow!
100%. We love this team, Brunson is HIM, we have NEVER had a HIM.
Mike Greenberg has been doing this for thirty years and has said nothing of interest in all that time. Now that’s amazing 😂😂
Russillo was very proud to affirm that it was in fact the ocean behind him lmao
This mindset is why ESPN is a relic
I grew up with the msg network. Dunno if that’s still a thing but the knicks against Miami or Indiana were some of the best rivalries. It’s funny how buffalo bills fans hate the dolphins and Knicks hated the heat back then
What does the "no guardrails" stuff mean?
Within the ad read instructions it means that the host reading the ad has a great deal of freedom with what they can say. Russillo actually saying no guard rails during the ad is comparable to an actor reading the footnotes in addition to their lines
@@Jayhawk92 ah .. thanks very much!! :)
@@amatya.rakshasa no problem
Wow, didn't know that Andrew Rousso moonlights as a sports analyst 😅
Are the Knicks beloved now?
He said Jalen Hart
People liked the 95 99 00 teams and 13 team sorta...
So ESPN was right about the weird punter?
How did I not know this channel existed? smh
This is the best Knick management in 30 years. Start there. The players are far better than 10 years ago as a collective. Compare the playoff teams melo faced
Big 3 Celtics 2x
Miami heat big 3
Pacers with PG and Hibbert
Jesus Christ Russillo. Mike Greenberg?
The Refs love the Knicks. And everyone else is jumping on the wagon.
I’m happy for NY. It’s great.
But the “national media” have lost their minds w what is largely a local news story, I think NYC is LOVING this. And that is great.
But the rest of the country hardly cares about the Knicks. Lakers and Celtics move the needle, but the Knicks??
"I'm older than you"
Havent watched the vid yet, but I'd bet the reason is they're gritty, don't have a superstar, and ARE WINNING.......
Mike Greenberg isn’t really a Knick fan the way he dogs them on ESPN with those other sports personalities lol
This guy is the most non NY New York sports fan
He likes the jets mets and knicks ugh...anyone who isn't a giants yankees fan in ny is just a joke...
Do the Bruins not count when it comes to Boston teams? Does actual hockey not count?
The acrimony of the M&M split is still such a disappointment.
It was my favorite show. The new show still feels like a placeholder until they figure out the next cool thing.
If they lose to indiana. This ages like milk
Handsome?
I think this is one the most hatable Knicks team in history.
No Mike, most beloved since Linsanity! So don’t have such a revisionist memory! And they are lovable because of how they played as a team!
It is a travesty Mike was replaced on the nba countdown show
Greenberg loves to hear himself talk. You’re lucky if you get a word in edgewise. I like Russillo 10 times more than the Berg.
Mike Greenberg makes some of the worst sports takes I have heard! He said the lions Super Bowl window was over and picked the bears to win the division lmao
lmfao Woke Greenberg
Those ‘90 Knicks were not beloved by many Knicks fans. They played an inelegant but muscular form basketball. Mediocre passing. Little offensive flow. Bully ball to Patrick. Physical defense closer to football. They were supported. But never beloved. The 70s teams were beloved.
Greeny is so corny. 🤢 he is everything wrong with sports
You clearly want to kiss him
@@CarbinKid yeah sounds amazing
