Im a united fan, but for hazard to shine in such a stacked chelsea squad, the elegant oscar, the prodigal fabregas, the dynamic willian, the beastly diego costa, the very clutch king drogba, the leader john terry and the brilliant keepers, yet amongst all them you had a little GOAT, that is none other than the number 10, EDEN HAZARD who was there for them when they needed him most, what a squad.

A great mixture of youth and leadership. Hazard, Courtois, Willian, Matic, Oscar were all rising stars with Terry, Cahill, Drogba, Ivanovic, and Mikel were all veterans. Add in talented guys like Matic, Cesc, Costa, Azpi, and Ramires and you have a perfect squad

That last game of this season was my first football game I ever watched and I remember they were celebrating especially I remember drogba's reaction. Such s precious memory for me and I will be supporting this club no matter what happens.

So true. We've not come close to winning the league since 16/17 and all three of these were great in that season too. I know we've won a champions league since this squad broke up but the standard of the current squad to this one is not even close.
@@kidkieran77 Yeah you're absolutely right.... I would say that last season we looked like a team that was about to win the league title with a 9 points lead before December. Unfortunately our system relied heavily on wingbacks and because of their injuries everything was shuttered.

not only he himself is legend, he discover players outside the spotlights or even unknown to many, and mold them into legends.
he builds the team from nothing much, but by the time he leaves, the club now has a proud legacy, and more importantly a character, an identity.

Mourinhos biggest mistake was to think Oscar had more potential than KDB
To earn more money from Chinese Super League? He grew up with porverty. For him, i think football is not only a passion but also a job. A job means you should make more money with that. I guess that is the biggest reason. Can't blame him, but there sure is regret.
It was reported that Oscar would have made a 4 year deal worth 400 000 a week. So:
400 000 x 52 x 4 = enough to end a career in Europe

@@shadyizloo KDB could have featured more instead of Schurrle or Cuadrado. Yes I know KDB is a central player but back then he was more part of the front three. That was a bit of of a problem position all year. Whilst Schurrle was decent, I thought it was pretty clear at the time that he wasn't a long term solution.
Salah looked so good when he played against us for Basel but he just didn't quite have it for a top prem side at the time. We should have loaned him to a prem team. With how badly 15/16, and how badly Hazard played, I feel like he could have really helped.
Lukaku would have been nowhere near this team. His ego would not have allowed him to have been understudy to Costa. He didn't even want to share minutes with Torres and Eto'o when all he had done is had a decent season for West Brom.
Now Chelsea need striker like Diego costaaaaaa

What a season it was! We were playing with the best two strikers we had for the last 20 years: Drogba and of course Diego Costa. What a season for him

2013-2015: Mourinho's second spell at Chelsea
2021: Chelsea's second Champions League title (Azpilicueta as captain after played often in Mourinho's second spell)
