Rubber gloves are NOT necessary. I used them in one scene because I was jumping back and forth between tasks. Their only purpose was a quick escape!
I would love your feedback! This video is loaded with info. Is it helpful or overwhelming (too much info in one video?)

I have been looking for a way to up cycle my plastic containers and paper. I really enjoyed your video.
You are a very good instructor. I will definitely stay tuned for more. Thank you for sharing.
Thank you!
Loved them all. My most favorite is the one with the vertical lines pressed in with the paint brush handle! Will try as soon as I partially recuperate from surgery. Can't wait.
Girl you are simply amazing I have learned so much from you I am addicted to paper clay thanks so much for all the knowledge you have on doing this
Thanks so much! There's so much more to share! #soon

Umm late to the party…however I wanted to say I love your tutorial and your style. I have yet to attempt any projects after only recently discovering paper mache. But I am learning loads from watching. Thank U.

The next longer video is going live very soon!
Just found your channel. You are so informative and easy to listen to. Love it! Love the idea of using waste plastic. Keep em out of the landfill and ocean.
Thank you!
thanks for sharing💕
🪣Learn something every time! I've tried a bit of paper pulp on a few masks but have not been happy with it. But now I see how much you smooth with glue after.. that's the step I was missing. Excited to see if I can make it work!
Smoothing through out the drying process definitely makes a difference
@@createdbyrenee I usually put a wet project under a heat lamp overnight so I'll have to modify that schedule a bit. ha ha Thanks for the tip!
🏺Great tutorial❣️I love the textures and patterns on your rustic vase #2. These are all wonderful pieces. 😍👍
Thanks!
You’re most welcome. 🙂
⚱️ I really appreciate all the work that went into the making of this video as well as the vases. I'm so inspired to make some large vases (I've already made several smaller pieces inspired by your previous videos).
It's tough, but if I had to choose a favorite it would be the white one with the indentations. Love it! 👏🏼
Many thanks!
My word! It looks like I just joined your fan club! I, too, really appreciate you sharing your tips with us. I just finished your video on how to make Paper Mache pulp - I didn't comment, but thank you for that one, too. Very informative. I've been using strips but want to try the pulp and you make it look very approachable. PS: It's very difficult to choose a favorite vase, but I think mine would be Vase #1. I loved it unfinished, but you made it beautiful in the green, too.
Ha! How about "friends club"? Thanks for being here!
@@createdbyrenee Yes! Friends club it is!
⚱Loved it Renée, great work on the video! My absolute favourite is the one with all the dot patterns, but they all look so cool. I can definitely see the historic inspiration.
Thanks!
Brilliant!! You are one of the best. Thanks so much for generously sharing your skills and talent with us. 💜💫
Thank you!!
I like them all… if I really have to chose, maybe the white drybrushed one with the texture..
Thanks so much for sharing! One thing i’d do differently though (minor detail): i would cover the handles with masking tape before having them glued on 😃
Thank you!
They are so cool. Thank you for sharing such a big project. 🏺
Thanks!
Beautiful vases Renee! I love your channel and how creative you are. TFS 🤩
Thank YOU Victoria!
So satisfying to watch you work.
Thanks!
Thanks for sharing this! Keep up the good work!
Thanks!
👏👏👏Thanks...
You're welcome!

Thanks so much! I'm working on new videos now!
My fave is definitely no 2 😍
So versatile video, a lot to learn from! Would be great if you keep sharing about making different shapes.
Thank you so much for this video. It has been truly helpful.
Thank you- I'm so glad!
Great video - can't wait to see what else you make.
Thank you!
Love them all! Thank you for sharing xoxo

Love this video. My favorite is the ivory with the lines. Thank you for sharing your talent
Thank you!
⚱️⚱️⚱️⚱️⚱️⚱️⚱️⚱️.Inspiring video ,love them all but vase#2 is a favorite. I just love the stone effect on paper.
Thank you!
🏺🏺🏺🏺🏺I learnt so much from this video! All vases came out amazing. I love all of them and it is so easy to watch and learn. I made a cup of coffee for me before watching and I found it untouched after. I was so engaged that I forgot my coffee. Thank you Renee for sharing.
You're welcome!
⚱️ beautiful. Wish I have the patience to make such creations
Inspiring and amazing video! Wow and thank you!
Thanks Joan!
Hmmm...pulp. very interesting & im very interested. This is actually (the pulp) something i came up with jus as well. Only difference is i didn't think it was going to work. Yours slightly different. Awesome.
Paper pulp has been around for centuries in different cultures used in different ways! It's so versatile.
@@createdbyrenee didn't no that
I really needed this bc I’m 75 & trying to learn.. ur the best!
I hope it helps!
Hey there I’m 73 an just learning. Houston says howdy.
Great Job Renee!! I enjoyed your style of teaching as well as all your style of vases. I prefer the pulp method over the strip paper method but no reflection on you. I appreciate your time with the video. I know from my experience how much time it takes to film and edit after doing it for Instagram. I like how you do your handles as well as how you built up your jars to make new shapes. I'll give that a try.
Many thanks Irene! ⚱️⚱️⚱️

🏺hey I was thinking for the spout, a cut in the main vase body could made and another piece of plastic could be bent or shaped (using a heat gun) and attached with hot glue making the spout waterproof and usable. What do you think? Loved this video, you’re awesome!
I love that idea! Thank you for watching 🫶🏽
انا اريد ان ازيد وزن الورق كيف تزيد وزن الورق ارجو الرد السريع
I tried to respond quickly, but translate wasn't showing up! It is now, so the quickest answer I can give is to add sand to the pulp.

Thank you sharing Renee, your vessels are beautiful. I do have a question, though. how do you seal it and especially the lip, where the papier-mâché meets the plastic container, so that when water is added and spilled out, it doesn't seep into the papier-mâché (where the plastic container meet and the papier-mâché pulp).
The mod podge line has a few sealants that provide a water-resistant surface. I have two of them linked in my Amazon storefront (but there are more options in that product line): amzn.to/3YgqO0q
I have pieces with plastic lip that I made for myself years ago that are holding up nicely!
Omg beautiful work , im an artist ive been into do paper crafts ive been obsessed with paper beads lately , i would love to try a vase ....if i wanted to use a paper machee vase for a plant i would have to pre drill the holes befor layering ? Or after ? 🤔
Thank you! When I've made planters for plants in soil, I made the holes in the plastic, then added the paper pulp and reinforced the holes. For these vases, no holes because they're just meant to hold water and flowers. Hope that helps!
hello I have just subscribed to your channel thanks for all that you share, it takes a lot of effort. I love the shape of vase no. 4 the tall black one and I was wondering if it needed like some kind of weight in the bottom?
I am embarking on a paper mache journey woo hoo!
Thank you for subbing! The tall black vase was large and heavy wnough not to need weight added! But if you wanted to add weight, something like river stones would work.
Question...the balloon vase VIDEOS on here...im trying to make one. Well...i failed 6times. Don't no wat im doing wrong. Did exactly wat the VIDEOS said do.
If u could look up on here How to make a vase with a balloon. Not the video's that use paper mache. But the video that fill plaster or cement inside the balloon. Those the two ways to make it.
Back to my question...do u think i can use this paper pulp to make the balloon vase after paper macheing it?
I'm asking cuz like I said trying the pouring plaster inside the balloon method isn't working for me. It keeps cracking inside the balloon. So....I'm going to try the paper mache method & was wondering if I can use the paper pulp. If it would work or not. Would love if u could do a video on it.
I'm familiar with that technique and have worked with both plaster and cement. I can save you time: it would collapse using paper mache as well. Both cement and plaster have a mystical way of heating up while they cure. Both the heat and the weight of either would make a rubber balloon or paper prone to collapsing. I personally wouldn't waste the time and materials. BUT it might be a good idea to pose the same question to the creators who have successfully made a vase using that technique.🙏🏽
@@createdbyrenee I did. No answer. But in the video it worked. Every video that make it & it work. But just trying to see wat to do that will work. Thanks anyway 👍
🥰 👍

Thank you June! 😊
Me K-Lee and Molly Brown love this a helluva lot more better than clay and you can bleedat from Austin Texas and me K-Lee and,😂,

🏺How do you know or how do you price these? I love them! I do paper mache but they are characters. Im confused on how to put a price
Ooo- I'm not a guru on that, especially bc it's depends on a number of factors that vary from one artist to the next. I recommend searching pricing formulas for handmade items on Google.
