I think it's a subjective phrase.. For me I use it as like the beautiful life, hope and dreams I build up in my head.. Unrealistic hopes and dreams? And the melancholy of the vocals is the inevitable let down of actual day to day life. Sounds kind of negative but it makes sense in my head 😂
