Good job sir nice video and amazing fishing 🎣
Great series 👏👏
Drakes are just outstanding. Peacock all the way.
Make my own for the tidal Clyde now.
Thanks for another great video James.
What is the maximum difference you would have between your line and hooklength diameter?
When fishing fine I have been using 2.5lb Maxima, with a stated diameter of 0.14mm, but is probably closer to 0.16mm in reality. I match this to hooklengths of 0.08 tp 0.10, usually 0.09. Would a mainline of 0.14 or lower really make a big difference to my fishing?
Hi! My guide would be 0.07-0.08 hooklength on 0.12mm reel line. 0.09-0.12 on 0.14 or 0.16mm reel line. It’s good to balance the reel line to the hooklength as best as possible. Lower diameter reel lines also better for casting lighter floats. Cheers James
When will be the result of competition?
Hi! We announced the winner on our Facebook page Thursday. The lucky winner was Steven Hollis. We are posting a video clip on this channel Monday with info on a great deal on the 15ft 0 to those that entered. Cheers James
