Guessing based on capo placement and key of this recording it's either standard or open E major. (capo 2, recording is in F# major and every time he hits the lowest string open it's the tonic of the song, F#).

I’ve been trying to figure this out. I believe it’s EADF#BE with capo 2.

@@jnh242 pretty close, that may be correct for this song. Dead for Days is played in EADF#AD​; if this is the same as that then just high E down a step.
