Lebanese journalist Ali Mortada, who works for Al-Mayadeen, taunted Israeli forces and Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyhu in a video message he shared on Thursday and revealed that he used an unexploded Israeli artillery shell that landed near him to propose to his partner.
In recent months Mortada has been reporting on the various Israeli attacks on Lebanon’s south since 7 October, which have claimed the lives of at least 25 civilians.

It sounds cool but that is the very reason why war never ends. His children will grow up with revenge mindset, with an idea that the israelis are evil and palestinians are good. They'll wage war and if they win, they'll allow the winners to oppress the losers "because they deserve it". They'll overdo it, the conquered enemies will suffer and then they'll grow up with a revenge midnset. And so on, forever.

Bravo Ali Mortada. The spirit of a lion in the face of such depraved psychopathic crimes. This reminds me of the martyred Irish Republican Bobby Sands who declared, "Our revenge will be the laughter of our children." May you and your family live in peace, free from the crimes of your vile neighbor.
I was on holiday from London in Ireland when Bobby Sands was dying, I had to keep my mouth shut re my accent in some places like Wexford, so sad seeing the black flags at places with people collecting for him and the IRA. Lets hope those times never return to Ireland.
