and the 5.0 from the same years actually made less power than the 4.6 it comes with anyway, so unless you're heavily modifying it(which they did) even a 5.0 swap is completely useless just mod the 4.6 at this point

What compression are you at? Boost/fuel psi? It sounds like the air-flow is not allowing you to unlock the power you're holding in there, or you're not igniting a powerful enough explosion consistent for the parasitic loss and backpressure to break free from holding you back. The fuel may need much more pressure with a ton of spark to get that torque up for the mph to carry you with that T3650 having longer gears than that track needs. I'm not a know-it-all, at ALL, I just want to see you fellas succeed at making the Baddest Vic 🤘🏽
I've got a weird hunch that if you put a bigger pulley on it, it'll reduce the demand on your engine enough to spool up faster, possibly pick its ass up in the back end with the turbos eating the higher rpm for you
I bet that supercharger is slowing you down on the top end, intake temp gotta be through the roof. Water meth system would definitely help out. Love the build!

You wouldn't even pick up a thenth by pulling the back seat and panels. They're light. But everything under the dash is gutted, hood is skinned and pinned, and carpet is gone. Really won't see much weight loss unless we actually cut out the doors themselves and or get rid of the glass. We have a set of car scales in our shop and have weighed basically everything just so we know.

@@BoostandBadHabits that would explain Will's issue with second gear. idk if you guys know but high RPM lock out is common on the TR3650 along with 2ed and 3ed synchro taking a poop. I run into lock out in my 4.6 3v at 6400RPM shifts often. I'd suggest T56 or TR6060 cause them TR3650 just can't hang with big boy power.
@@jaceconder3677 never had an issue with our built 4.6 turbo 2v in it revving to 7500 on a stock 3650. This one is mildly built too. Just luck of the draw I suppose. Definitely would prefer a 606p or t56 magnum but pockets ain't that deep 😅

boost was at 14~ and fuel pressure was 42psi base and 56psi with boost
