Personally, I like the way Grinder's rib cage sticks out. It makes it feel more like an actual rib cage protruding in front of the spine, instead of weirdly wrapping around the backbone.
Like I sort of mentioned in the video, it really isn't about accurate proportions or anatomy for me. I don't care how properly these are able to represent a real bone structure. I would just prefer that my figures don't have such gaping holes in their construction.

Well, there's a little more to it than that... it's not just about realism, it's more about the appeal of being able to imagine what a bruiser this guy was in life, when all those empty areas were filled with muscle.

I like that he wields it with one hand, reminds me of Mordekaiser from League. Nothing says badass like wielding a mace the size of a small car with a single hand.

The description we got for the mask in G1 states that it was filled with detailed symbols and that it isn't merely a Kanohi, but a work of art. I think the G2 mask fits that description extremely well
On my MoC stand, I replaced the 2 connection beam with the spare bush, because the pin part of that beam doesn't really do anything when the spare pin is added to the middle of the 3 connection half beams. I also did like you suggested with the friction gears on Ekimu, and only gave him one, putting the other under the staff arm of Kulta. One thing that's been suggested, that you didn't cover, is the idea of taking the clear part of the MoC stand off the trans light blue dish and attaching it to the stud on the end of the tan 3 length axle in the staff, as an alternate way for it to hold a/the mask.
Eh. That last part just seems kind of unnecessary to me. In my experience, the staff holds on to the mask securely enough without it. I guess even more support is never a bad thing though.
Man, it has been a ling time and i rememver when i had the full kulta figure! I have been watching youre reviews and let's builds for years now and love all of you're videos! I just got lewa master of jungle for christmas, he is my favourite toa, thanks for the awesome and everlasting epic videos!

He is credited as Skull Grinder & his personal name is Kulta reminds me of Teridax cuz first we call him Makuta, which eventually was retconned as a species name in 2005 & he was given a personal name in 2008

Having him use the staff two-handed would have been an excelent way to intriduce the 2016 waist articulation into G2 I belive...
i actually like the way the horns work for both grinder and basher. in play it allows the heroes to go in for like an upper strike as if it was knocking the mask off from under their faces if you hit the horns just right

Why did they make the extra gears on grinder with the axle-axle-pins instead of pin-pin-axles? they could have had twice the friction for the same price!

The set you're referring to is likely due for wave 4, actually. And as for the connection? Lego has told us there isn't one... but Lego tells us a lot of things. There might be, but at this point we just can't be sure.

Y'know, something you can do is attach the hook blade to the end of the mask stealing staff (try saying that 5 times fast) to make it a bit more useful.

IXRolloutIX you know how the mask of creation is the mask everyone (in bionicle) is fighting for, what are the masks everyone was fighting for since the original toa?
In G1, 2001-2005, they were fighting to keep everyone SAFE. 2004-2005 also had people fight for the Vahi, Mask of Time.
2006-2008 was the fight for the Ignika, Mask of Life and 2009-2010 was Mata Nui's quest for things.
Are you going to review the combinder models in my opinion the ekimu grinder and Scorpio combinder looks really good so good I bought two of each and made the model for display along with the other combinder as well
I don't really build many combiner models unless they have actual story significance. If I don't build them by choice, chances are I won't go through the trouble of disassembling my sets just to make one more video.

See, I would've liked it if Scorpio had a gunmetal mask instead. That way, the differing mask colors could possibly represent army rank; the lieutenants and lord wearing pure sliver, and the foot-soldiers and scouts wearing tarnished gunmetal.
I think the mask of creation looks better on Grinder due to his details (the armor add ons and weapons).Ekimu just doesn't have detailed enough pieces to make the design of the mask work on him.
I think hollding the wepon in in on hand makes him look stronger

All that detailing on his mask and the glyphs make the mask look too busy and since CCBS pieces are notoriously plain, the MoC looks out of place. Not sure why Kulta doesn't have that problem when he wears the mask.

So everything is happening inside the bionicle universe I thought it was in an alternate reality but how and why did the toa be...... Contained again like in the original saga once they were built and trained they were put into canister until they were needed and were did the island of okoto come from it it just a land form in the middle of the ocean?
Huh? As far as we've been officially told, Generation 2 is an entirely separate universe from the first.
Although. The unmistakable silhouette of a single certain island seen clearly on a recently leaked poster may-or-may-not contest that statement. I mean, it wouldn't be the first time a Lego representative flat out lied to us in order to preserve confidentiality...
