Thanks Nate, good job. I installed my system quite a few years ago according to one of your plans. I studied the system in depth when I put it in but my old mind forgets most of what I did back then..the system just works. I like to go back to your videos now and then just to refresh my mind. You are a real wealth of information.
I added MRBF fuses to my batteries just in case of an internal battery failure which could dump 1000's of amps if left unchecked. I still have a Class-T fuse for the main system protection.
Great Job! So, if I have an Orion 24/12 Convertor feeding a 12V battery, I should have a fuse/breaker after the Orion and also after the battery feeding the RV circuits?
Question for Nate, my system install uses all Victron componants with 540ah of batteries, all laid out similar to your schematics I purchased a few years ago. I've never had an issue in the 2 years of full time use. My question is, do these fuses ever age out, need changed / replaced just because of time use or age? Or are they good til they aren't?
Great video you did not explain where to put the 2- 20A PV Fuses i got in my 1500W Solar Charging Wiring Kit (6x 250W | 12V Battery Bank) i just recieved
