Hello man, I have a question. Does the bot run when my pc is turned off?
If this helped you, make sure to subscribe & like!
Ram lwo i think replit + uptimerbot Better
@@galimastermc3645 no discloud is def better ive tried both approaches
@@tejas-tech I agree, and the code is private right ? which is not the case for free replit... thanks again I subbed
Thank you so much!!. Yesterday I learned how to create a Bot and I needed to host it somewhere. To my bad luck, Heroku became paid, but thanks to you I found an alternative :)
No problem! Thanks for subscribing
Thank you so much! Finally i found a video that could help me keep my bot online.
No problem! Thanks for subscribing :))
Thank you so much. Finally this is a FREE method that ACTUALLY works. Big
thanks for the support
It is saying "An error occurred by allocating the space. Verify that the Zip file you sent is not corrupted, valid or blocked with a password." When i upload the file.
same
hey there! are you using 7zip to zip it?
@@tejas-tech nop im using the windows zip thing
@@tejas-tech yep me to and i dont know how fix it
same here and i have no idea how to fix it
how do i invite my bot to my server??
google it lolz
If i wanted to update my bot in the future, do I have to reupload the new files every time? Or is there a way to automatically synchronise with the updates
This really helped! Still mad about Heroku costing money though
for real! but anyways, glad to see I helped & thanks for subscribing.
Hi, I'm using discordjs, I followed every step and I uploaded the bot succesfully but it was offline so I tried to run the bot and it came online but instantly went offline. I checked the logs and it didn't show me any error it only says "Logged is as..." and my bot name. I don't know why it's coming offline
Thanks for commenting. I suggest using the discloud FAQ in their discord
What is I used replit how do I get the file
Hey thanks for watching! If you have a lot of files, download it as a zip - however if you only have a few, just copy and paste them into a folder in TXT’s, however rename them as .confi, .py, etc!
@tejas-tech i need help, what is this?
failed to solve: rpc error: code = Unknown desc = process "/bin/sh -c apt-get -y update && apt-get -y upgrade && apt-get clean && apt-get install -y build-essential git curl git wget openssh-client" did not complete successfully: exit code: 100
How to add More lib in requirements.txt
what is their format
it dosent work it says O arquivo principal src\index.js não foi encontrado dentro do zip. and i dont know what that means or what to do
The main file index.js was not found inside the zip. Basically it cant find the file that you set as the main in discloud.config
hey man when i drag the files and it sends at the end the result is that it says that it does not detect requirements.txt in the directory of my application can you help me please?
Make sure your requirements txt is at the root of your project!
So i did everything u said and it worked fine, except the part where i check on vsc for discloud apps, my bot seems to be offline, but on dashboard it says the bot is online. And on discord it shows the bot is online but is unresponsive to my commands, so i have to manually start the bot up through terminal
i have a similar problem too! I just add the bot files, it says its online BUT the bot doesnt respond, and when i refresh the site, it says the bot if offline, and restarting it and such doesnt do anything..... And i have no idea what i did wrong cuz, im not getting any errors, i looked at the documentation and i have it all done.... and ppl in the Discloud server arent helping me AT ALL... help ;-;
@mikuthefallen1312 I found out, my files exceed the ram. So basically I gotta find a way to Lower my ram use from the bot code or upgrade discloud plan
@ObamaBarrack yeah same, i figured that out too, i kinda switched to a different hosting service and now its all good
@@menacingmikuwhat hosting service are you using now?

hey i have a question would it be possible to make two python files the main file for the discloudconfig
hmm, im not sure. I think you should ask their support team.
when i upload the zip file, it goes to 100% then stays there. Its been like that for 30 mins. What should I do?
hey there, thanks for commeting. do you still need help!
The bot is not online on Discord. It says online on the dashboard until I refresh the page and it goes offline again. Is it still working?
This still works! It may be a problem with your code or discloud.config file ... did you make sure to set those up right?
@@tejas-tech Yes, I made sure. I thought if there was an issue with it, it won't let the app upload. Anyway, I also wanted to ask. Do I have to also upload the node modules folder?
I get a 500 internal error when I try to run it, why's that?
Try again now - they fixed this glitch!
How can i make my python repl into a folder ? 5:03
You can hit download then zip it!
What should I do when I get these errors?
This file needs to be in the project root. Move the file or open VSCode to the correct location.
Main file does not exist.
NAME=erubot

Move this file to the same folder as main.py
thanks a lot
ofc man, thanks for watching 😃
it gives me an error when i specify MAIN=index.js, i tried putting it in the root folder, also tried putting it in src folder where the index.js file is, doesnt work either way, how do i fix this?
edit: think i fixed it, instead of index.js i put src/index.js and the error disappeared
Nice 🙂
Its telling me error 500 all the time when I want to run it.
and it doesnt want to start and go online
Hey, thanks for subscribing - are you using Python or js?
@@tejas-tech Hi, I'm using Python
same were you able to find a fix?

If you make changes to your bot, do you need to re-zip and then re-upload the updated zip to Discloud?
Yeah , they are working on a quicker way but for now it’s still the old way
@@tejas-tech found out you can do it directly inside of VSC through the extension
It keeps saying "An error occurred by allocating the space. Verify that the Zip file you sent is not corrupted, valid or blocked with a password." when i try to upload the file. Could you please help me?
Try to create a new zip file, with all the contents of your code in it
@@tejas-tech i did that but it does not work
tysm
No problem, thanks for subscribing
Don’t work
It should work - where are you having issues?
@@tejas-tech its saying: The discloud.config file was not found within .zip sent. even i have a discloud.config file
gg thanks
Thanks for the feedback. Glad you liked the video :) I’m planning to post soon, so if you could help me out by hitting subscribe ❤️
When I try to upload the .zip file, it says "The discloud.config file was not found within .zip sent." even though I have a "discloud.config" file.
Make sure that you setup discloud.config correctly. Also, make sure that you have discloud.config in the main folder - also make sure you spell right!
@@tejas-tech I made sure all those things, I’ll recheck right now to confirm! Oh by the way, there’s a file named “.vscode” that appeared randomly in the folder. Should I remove it..?
Same problem, did you fix it?
@@weix8986 hey guys, thats a strange issue! I suggest reaching out to their discord support server!

Hello! Even though i followed your procedure, mine was offline, and at logs tab it said that ModuleNotFoundError: No module named 'requests' since i imported requests which is important at my project. What should I do?
Thank you for subscribing! Make sure you include requests in requirements.txt
It says: "You have reached the application limit you can host or you allocated all available RAM of your plan" What should I do pleaaaaaaaase
sadly there’s no fix, your bot must consume too much ram :(
Thank you for the vedio ! looking forward to trying it !
Of course! Make sure to subscribe if this helped you out 😊
stuck at 60%
I love the tutorial, but when I added the app, it does not show up as green,, and when I manually start it, the bot does not turn online. What should I do? I did it in .js, and I followed all your steps.
Ask in their discord server!
When I'm uploading my bot, its showing an error saying that there is no module named requests. How do I fix that?
I know how to include requests, I have also entered 'requests.py' below the line with 'discord.py'. Can you tell me how to include it correctly?
Did you put requests in your requirements file?
my bot need min 200mb ram to run anyone know free 200mb+ hosting service
Ah unfortunately I don’t sorry man
I have been trying to make a discord bot that scrapes info about anime like thumbnails and descriptions.
I am using selenium for the scraping part.
It opens a browser window.
So would that be possible if I host it on discloud?
Do I have to upload the web driver along with the code?
How should I alter the path to that driver in the code if I do have to upload the driver?
I don’t think it would be possible to set up a web driver route - however, there’s got to be a more efficient way to scrape the data haha :)
i did everything you said and it told me that i need the req document even tho i have it
Make sure it’s formatted correctly
TYSM dude helped a lot
For some reason by "Name" it's still giving me a error. Any fix?
not sure
ty!!!
it says package.jckson not found :/
Hi there & thanks for subscribing - I hope you are doing well! Do you have that file in your project?
Thank you very very much i have search 3h for an free bot hosting website
