ISRC Tutorial 1

ISRC=International Standard Recording Code. The International Standard Recording Code (ISRC) is an international standard code for uniquely identifying sound recordings and music video recordings. KWVH needs to add ISRC codes to our music files to properly attribute music to the composers, musicians, and record labels who hold the copyrights.

Hey watching this again, 3 months after I first watched it. I tried literally 10 different youtube videos on how to add an ISRC code to a song and your method was the only one that worked. thank yoU!

Thank you. The process isn't all that straightforward. I wish there was some kind of included app or software to keep track of these numbers. I was thinking about trying to create spreadsheets, but I don't even really know how to do that lol.
How are you keeping track of your ISRC codes?

either a spreadsheet or just a word document. spreadsheet is better because you can sort the info any way you want to, and re-sort it anytime. but a word doc is better than nothing! gotta keep track fo those codes!

can you show on the ISRC.org page, how you actually GET an ISRC code? I've been searching all over their site and it just doesn't seem to be there. I have already registered and paid and got my 3-letter registrant code but how do I create codes?
