The piece is amazing! Fun fact: In Hong Kong, this song is played on the radio before the listening assessment of the public exam for secondary students so that the candidates can tune their radio and adjust the volume, and I am one of the candidates tomorrow. So... mixed feelings now but the piece is certainly brilliant.
@@lewiselliott6312It's a beautiful song, but it's a myth that it was written by Henry. The song is actually estimated to have been written many decades after his death, more around the Elizabethan era. ฅ^•ﻌ•^ฅ

You two should work together on an album. Thank you again for the emotions that you awaken in me just listening to you and your music choices are awesome.
This was awesome! I love Greensleeves! We're going to play it in my orchestra and since I play cello,I get to play the melody!!! I'm glad YOU played this song, it was really pretty and I ughh..my heart melts with this song! Thank You!!!!
My grandma used to have a wind-up crystal swan that would spin to this song. : ) I used to love to wind it up over and over again. Somehow, this song still sounds magical when I hear it; especially your version of it. Thanks for posting this!
This was my fav song to play at my orchestra... Even though the second year orchestra class got the melody it was the most beautiful thing I had ever heard
I'm so excited to be off to your concert in Pontiac in Michigan. Wonderful song. Music like yours helps get me out of some dark places, so thank you so much.
as an Australian this reminds me of Ice Cream trucks, Greensleves is the usual theme song they played in the areas i've lived in. Beautiful rendition as always you have a great gift :)
I love this it is so beautiful your music has helped me though so much with the constant bullying I am going through your music puts me in a positive mood thank you for that Taylor
Thank you so much for sharing that Kayla, I'm sorry to hear that you're going through so much bullying, I know how that feels as I went through a lot of that when I was younger too. Just know that you're never alone in it, and keep finding things that make you happy and try as much as you can to ignore those negative people who are being mean!
I feel your pain, i suffered through bullying my entire school life (teachers wont do anything) and even years afterwards, add ontop of that social anxiety which still occurs to a lesser extent now at 43yrs old. Years of Karate helped with all of that, something where you can focus on yourself and surrounded by others who are generally there to grow together, plus it has an added bonus of getting you fit and improving self confidence
I went through that too. You can't change people ( there will always be idiots and more idiots to follow them ) but if you survive that hardship when you'll step into the real world ( not the puny school world ) you'll be a great person who knows about others' suffering, who will know how to choose good people to get close to and you will have a strong independant mind to make your own choices in life, not depending on how others think of you. These B****** don't know that they just forging you into a stronger person. So stay strong, in the long run, you'll be the winner.
Taylor Davis thank you for just making music because it has helped me through depression Taylor you have inspired me to play violin I have already wrote one original song called spellbound it means so much that you replied
Wikipedia says it was originally composed by King Henry VIII, long before it was used with the "What Child is This" lyrics (he lived from 1491 to 1547). Original lyrics: www.musicanet.org/robokopp/english/alasmylo.htm One of the few songs I can play on the piano, but I'm not good.
