Oliver didn't do much for fun in these times but I've gotta say him slipping the leash for him seems like a great way to practice some of his skills in a completely harmless way. He seems to find it hilarious.

Scott D. Delano Actually this whole “Rob the bodyguard” subplot was because Dig had just found out Oliver is the Arrow and quit, so yes he was fully aware Oliver was up to something.
They should’ve had Diggle stay as a part of the regular cast and eventually become John Stewart Green Lantern after helping Oliver for a few seasons, and made Rob into Jim Harper as Oliver’s bodyguard who becomes the actual Guardian from the comics and introduce Roy in season 2 as Jim’s nephew.
Oliver was so smart back in season 1 and 2 now it just seems like he's a rookie who's never been a superhero before. He has to rely on others to help him overcome simple battles that he could have easily won all by himself.
I like to think its because he never held back before. He put enemies down in 1 stroke versus knocking them out he would put them down permanently and onto the next
Yeah see they had to make him look/seem and act like an idiot so fefe would look smarter, and they also stripped him of his own personality and made him become fefe's chew toy/dog because who cares if the main character of his own show have any of these qualities since all it matters is a couple right?
"If you don't drive me how else am I gonna get there?" Love how he uses his billionaire status to make it seem like he's hapless. As if billionaires can't drive themselves.
