One of the best pieces of software ever. Used this daily on an A3000 for years maintaining the local TV’s info-channel, including animated ads etc. Loved it!
Great Video Ravi. SCALA is one of our favorite programs too. We used it a ton back in the day. We just got asked to bring some Amigas to the 2015 New York City Maker Faire and we might demo SCALA there.

Used this software all the way through the mid nineties until 2002. On an Amiga 500+. Weddings were my main job then. The new generations take everything so for granted now. Great times, great memories.
Amazing piece of software. Thanks for the video. Scala was used on a cable TV company's infochannel way back in 90s in Slovakia. Is there any possibility to find all the beautiful wallpapers and backgrounds as jpegs somewhere? Also could it be possible to install ScalaMM on MacOSX?
Never played around with scala looks really good will defo try it out .. towards the end the mod was distant call .. Great overview Ravi thanks for sharing
I remember using SCALA way back in the 90's to create promo videos and titles for our local bowling alley. It was cool to see what I created running across 68 TV's over the bowling lanes. I'm a Linux user now, but I really miss my old Amiga 4000 days and all the fun times I had with it. "Amiga Never Dies".

I used it a lot in local TV. ;)
Excellent demo Ravi. Still using this software to create digital photo albums on my miggy of holidays we had as a family since the late 80's.
Man this brings back so many memories. Actually “Genlock” is the basic system sync that allows the use of external peripherals within a system.
