Yes thank you, it is so hard to sit and watch the entire build. Some of us are way past that and this was about perfect time wise. Over production is a YT disease.
and here here to that comment. some of the people who make stuff and post it to ut dont realise how boring it is listening to a lot of waffling comment and useless machine or wood cutting and metal drilling. so to The Samurai Carpenter your video is excellent. bried, informative and entertaining
Very nice !!! I really like the inclusion of the Dutchmen that adds both a structural and aesthetic quality to the piece. You are indeed a true 'maker'. My late father was a master cabinet maker and I am sure he would have approved.
I am not a woodworker but found this to be incredible enjoyable to watch. I am now wishing one of my sons loved carpentry as I would love to have a chair like this.
Very beautiful piece of craftsmanship that will in all likelihood stand long after we're gone; one of those masterful and practical pieces that reflect the best of who we are as people in this time. Thanks!
Prolly the nicest rocker I’ve seen. Since my grandfather told me as a child that the rocking chair is the most difficult piece of furniture to build it has been on my “Bucket List” to design and build, and sit on my front porch drinking an adult beverage and watching my neighbors.
Really lovely chair and video. I always enjoy watching you combine traditional and modern techniques as you work. They're really not so different, just different tools. The result is always something special. Thanks for sharing!
Man, Gods gift to woodworking. You never cease to blow my mind. I've been with you since "Risen" woodworks. Your work is always so inspirational. There is nothing you are afraid to tackle. Stellar craftsmanship.
Beautiful chair - but I can think of two of your items which I prefer. The URN was positively amazing and so so touching. Also the jewellery box you made for your darling wife was truly spectacular. Thanks for the vid mate.
I love watching all your work. My favorite part about your work is there no nails or screws, its all jointery. Seamless jointery. It inspires me to do the same. It just looks so much better.
You make it look so easy Jesse, that's the sign of a true craftsman. I met Sam Maloof in California when his woodshop was still down the road from where the compound is now, they move his whole compound thats on the national registry because of the highway coming thru. His Rocker is world famous. Jesse, you are in his league. Your craftsmanship on all you build is extraordinary! Keep building, keep imagining, and keep pushing your limit, we all want to watch what you are doing next
It’s the most beautiful rocking chair I’ve ever seen. I am not a fan of drama and fanfare so I really enjoyed this video just a high quality craftsman making wonderful sturdy furniture.
Fine job sir. Thank you for continuing to upload to RUclips. I’ve learned so much over the years. Your admission about addiction, in my opinion, has been your best, most influential and respectable work. I’ve struggled with the same. You’re technique on laying out an arch has been most helpful to me. Thank you for sharing with us. God bless.
WOW! Absolutely gorgeous!!. Watching you reminds me of a young Sam Maloof and the high quality of work that he put into his chairs. The choice of woods is spot on and a beautiful contrast especially after you put the wax(?) on it. Now, you will have to make one for each child for that day they are old enough to have a family of their own. The perfect chair for rocking a baby to sleep.
I noticed 22 didn't like your work, they must be those that do their woodwork via a computer CNC, this was pure skill, your a young fella, just imagine the work you'll be doing at my age 70, you will still have that rocking chair, you built it to last. Goodonyamate Cheers
Hi senseï, thank you so much fornyour dharing , mood, attitude, and passion you brought in ypur vids...bi was so much in awe ...but the most overwhelming one, waw the urn for your child friend...som much caring, and love, translate into an amazing wood piece....you re more than a samouraï. Bravo
Inspiring as ever! thanks for sharing. and just bought the Arbortech tools with the coupon. thanks!!! studying for my residency exam, after which i hope to never have another exam in my life and all that awaits me in my free time is woodworking!!!!!! thanks for all your videos!
Some youtubers would make a 7 part series out of a chair like this. Kudos for the timelapses.

It's Friday evening here in the UK, got myself a cold beer I'm going to chill and watch the master at work! Cheers! Beautiful work as always.
Doing exactly the same down the road from you with the addition of a curry 🍛 to go with the 🍻

Very nice !!! I really like the inclusion of the Dutchmen that adds both a structural and aesthetic quality to the piece. You are indeed a true 'maker'. My late father was a master cabinet maker and I am sure he would have approved.
Very beautiful rocking chair. A heirloom to pass down to your children. Stay safe and happy woodworking.
Greene and Greene meets Sam Maloof. Very beautiful work! Love that guilty look at the end when you got caught.
This just bumped your reverse live edge dining table as the best build I've seen. Your talent is completely in a league of its own.
I am not a woodworker but found this to be incredible enjoyable to watch. I am now wishing one of my sons loved carpentry as I would love to have a chair like this.
A woman can work wood just the same you can do it!!❤️
@@gl0omygo0ber I understand as I am the handywoman of the house, my husband is the brain. I have done my fare share of handywork over the years.
