Nice pickups Ed, I’ve been diversifying more into dvds, Blu-ray and cds as lots of charity shops want rid of them and not many people know as much about them as games. Also lots of 8 or 10 for £1 deals.
A good reminder not to pass on the blu rays and dvds. Like the majority of the Barbie dvds serve as great trade in fodder, I know one of them trades in for a fiver, so if you can get them cheap
Always love the CEX videos Ed keep up the good work, it was my birthday on the 25th and my Splatoon 3 Oled switch arrived today I'm excited to play it. Have you seen the Zelda tears of the kingdom switch edition?
Some charities just seem to have no common sense with pricing. I've volunteered in a charity shop for over 10 years and the shops have definitely got more expensive. Of course overheads have increased in the same manner as any shop on the high street but pricing still needs to be a balance of getting the best price for the charity whilst also having stock selling at a decent rate. I look for games/media in charity shops and would love for everything to be cheap as chips however, the fact is the legal purpose of the shop is to raise as much money as possible from the sale of goods for the charity the shop supports.
@@EdHunts Some charities have prices guides across their whole network of shops which would be why you sometimes see blanket and varied pricing. In some shops the Manager may decide on prices which can mean values of near everything gets checked. Equally they may just put items out cheaper to sell stock quickly. I know Oxfam for example do price check media/games and have pricing guides for nearly everything else.
Hi Ed thanks for the heads up about the Brighton Video Game market, will be attending as I live near Brighton, look forward to seeing you.
Nice one Alan keep a look out for more updates in upcoming videos
Another top video Ed. Decided after watching you and a few others to start my own journey. So thanks for the inspiration mate 👍🏻
Nice one fella and best of luck!
Amazing, I will see you there at Brighton. Save me a goody bag
Will do!
Wow there was awesome boxed retro consoles in your CEX but seemed pretty pricy!
Yeah they had a boxed Saturn but boxed consoles are big to store so I normally avoid em, unless it's a handheld!
@@EdHunts haha I know the pain my gamesroom is rapidly filling up!
ED doing amazing thanks for info about Brighton retro market 😀👍

U done realy well with the trade ins there mate

I used A 2,000 to 2,5000 grit sandpaper do this wet on the disc and then polish with cloth.
You got some proper quality retro games there particularly the Gameboy, SNES and N64 games.
Cheers Danny
Great pickups Ed 👍
🤙🏼
Mate that Power Rangers is glorious! Touch it hadn’t been ordered! Think I might have to join you at Brighton 🙌🏼
aaaaaaaand yessss make it happen Jimbo!
When I go to some charity shops the discs are bad condition and £4, £10 is a rip off 😮
Great video man! I knew some DVDS and bits were worth a bit of money, especially steel books etc. What app do you use for scanning items? Cheers buddy
Cheers dude, I just use ebay or cex app mostly
@@EdHunts Cheers man!

Yeah it's just weird cos you go to some charity shops and it's a blanket price, and others its all over the shop.

30 seconds in and I can see Red Dead is Australian, let’s see if they take it!!
One they didn't take 😂good spot!
The is good 👍 🎮
Do you ever ask why they don't take the games? Tell me you didn't clean the discs with sandpaper of something...
They were just too scratched to be taken in
What a rip off polish cex is paying 10£ for Tekken 4 and 7£ for vice city in vouchers
🤷🏽♂️
