Ha, that is funny, I just realised I have been playing everything an octave higher than I was thinking- I mixed the middle with the lower register up, and was really struggling to play any octave other than middle and higher d (assuming they were lower and middle d). This explains a lot, like why I could only get the middle range notes with the third octave fingering. Anyway, the low notes are very beautiful, so a lovely discovery.

I have to learn how to play low C# but I think there might be something wrong with my flute because when I tap on the first key on the bottom the second one (the one that looks like a rolling thingy) goes down too even if I don't press it

Thanks for the tips. Teacher, I rather find that it is easy to do lower octave notes. 😏😏😏 Kinda need consistency and stability from C4 and up.😕😕😕

Hi Janet! Low C is definitely a difficult note to get, but a little bit of practice every day will make it easier over time. 😊 Please let me know if you have specific questions about it!
