I feel SB is one of those games that will have an active speedrunnimg and modding scenes even ten years from now because it's one of those "wonky but fun" games.
Love how people get their from info from over exaggerated memes and stick to it. This game had hiccups which is normal for it's size not to mention being experimental, freaking house wives are less judgemental then this
Likely the reason you can still move during STOP by crouching is because they probably just changed MaxWalkSpeed to 0, unaware that MaxWalkSpeedCrouched is an entirely separate variable.

This is definitely the kind of mod that'd benefit from Twitch integration, like most of the "Chaos" mods out there. Dying and crashing because RNG says so isn't fun for anyone, including the chat after awhile. Giving chat the reins is what makes these fun.
Tbh, chat would be more fun than the already fun randomized, but, do you think chat would actually vote for progress or constant suffering? A lot of chaos mods have proportional voting WITH RANDOM as an option, just to prevent chat from having a 100% ability to hold up progress

The problem with Day 1 version of the mod was that too many of the effects were "major" effects. Too many of them did too much gameplay. There weren't enough filler effects, minor effects, or gameplay things that wouldn't hinder but rather be helpful (where's the chaos without a bit of good stuff?)
Needed more visual and audio effects that were "harmless" like perhaps a Stampede event where you hear the stomps and get the screenshake of a dozen animatronics, but there are no actual animatronics to be seen (just a recorded sfx or perhaps an invisible version of the animatronic that can't hurt you). a Supersonic event where you get infinite stamina, superboosted sprint speed and the ability to jump really high / more than once.
I've yet to watch day 2, but the problem with the day 1 mod was that it was malicious by intent, rather than chaotic for fun.
Two of the effects were just forced failure with no counterplay, and because of how frequently you'd lose you'd never get 20 coins so really it was three forced failure effects. Not a great balance.

My furnace broke in my house, so now there's a bunch of portable heaters, and one of them I SWEAR sounds exactly like the ticking. It's beautiful
I have come to bring my wisdom because apparently some people haven't heard of this, but if you get dry rice in a sealed cloth bag, you can microwave it and it will be so warm and so nice to hold.
@@Schnort The good old rice heat pack. They're good for localized heat though, probably wouldn't work so well to keep you warm in a cold room.

as someone who watched the 10 hours worth of chaos VOD time, the chaos mod itself was inherently hilarious. i got a lot of good laughs, out of it! ngl the chaos VODs are probably my favourite spiff content.

As someone that watches gta5 chaos, something that would increase the fun factor of "table", is an impostor table so that half the time table is announced but doesn't crash and you just have to hope lol. Same with legal reasons, create a fake version of legal reasons that trolls you and you have to hope it's not a real menu kick.
Other options to balance the fun are potentially rare positive effects, like temporary invincibility from being caught by animatronics. Teleport to certain locations like the atrium or to the stage or to Freddy's room, would be fun.
Oh, for the second half of the video, I discovered all that was pretty much discovered lmao.

the thing I love about your SB videos is the amount of clearly very young people trying to say the game was never a glitchy mess when it's the reason half the people even played this. I love this game, I really do. A good 80% of my love however is from the incredible amounts of jank this game has.

Yeah 0.0.3 sucked, we have made lots of balancing changes since then. 33:17 even worse, in the original Al 0.0.1 before the next event text, you had to do a frame perfect wall clip with a deload caused by the pre patch pov event to beat it, and if you messed up once your game crashed.

Honestly, as dumb as ‘wet Freddy’ is, a cruise ship would be a legitimately good location concept for a free roam FNAF game.

There's something cathartic about the final fight. You go there expecting the same tired face for the millionth time, but there's nobody here. He never came back, he's gone, he won't ever return. We can finally move on and forget about him.

@@nameless...................... I actually do love SB the way it is. Instead of a linear game, its a "fuck around and do whatever you like within reason, and if you need less reason boundaries, there's mods". You don't have to beat it a specific way like most games intend and require. It's so broken that the possibilities are endless. Its like a pizzaplex sandbox. You can make your own fun and nobody has demonstrated that better than Spiff. And maybe Backseat Games who literally managed to pull off beating the bosses in reverse order.
The biggest piece of "furniture" that I've broken was a rectangular mirror. I was like 8 or 9 in the basement with my nephew. We saw the mirror and, us being dumb kids, we decided to punch it. I broke it, but not enough to get to the frame. Just enough to crack it like a damaged windshield. I wasn't worried about bad luck that day. I was much more afraid of my dad finding out.
This mod is literally describing what Security Breach is like for a person playing it for the first time
the love the modding community has given to this mess of a game is great, I hope spiff continues to explore more of these.
The fact that the chapters are only 14 seconds off from being perfectly split is very satisfying to me.

Good news, Spiff, I found Giga Monty! He seemed to have migrated to the Fazbear theater. He could jump, spot me from an ENDLESS distance, and detect me inside Freddy! I can even take him out into the lobby, but nowhere else sadly. I have screenshots for proof! I still can't fully explain it, but if anyone REALLY wants to know, I will try to explain it. Also amazing video as always!

For normal people, chaos mod is torture, but the stupidity of Twitch chat and some not so family friendly beverages, anything is possible. I wouldn’t be surprised if the next video is “ Every 15 seconds the game has a fruit punch clown mini game. If you fail to get all of the kids your file is reset”

To answer your “weird competitive sports” question I used to be a part of a competitive robotics team and it was awesome! Nothing like being up at 3am making parts and yelling at a robot to just work!

Hey Spiff, I remember this was the first stream I got to watch. You always make me laugh, and I just love watching your streams. When I said there should be a pizza bot at 31:43 I didn't realize this till a few days ago when I was speedrunning the fire escape (I want to thank you for the idea of speedrunning Security Breach) theres a pizza bot in the kitchen of the pizza bar next to the salad bar.

I had a cat with no tail but he was a breed that is born without them, so their back legs are slightly different to accommodate their balance, so he never had any issues as a tailless little guy

The ship can be controlled by a system, versus a human even… or on the beach on a warmer state so they can say ‘island resort’

The first version was probably them assuming you wanted it even harder since you made them shorten the timer for the mods where Monty and then all of them spawn.

So i watched the first stream of this mod. Watching spiff get progressivly more drunk was hilarious. Also the editing is on point! Love it!
For the underwater FNaF it could take place in a cruise ship and at some point you fall off when it's stationary and gotta figure out how to get back onboard. The second option is FNaF themed Subnautica.

Lmao so funny thing about the cold weather talk, we had a cold snap not long ago that hit -40F and I don't have a car. I have a bike. I bundled up and rode to work on my bike in -40F and I was honestly not that cold.
