We will be going through the book of 2 Thessalonians in 4 weeks. In this second letter, Paul has heard reports from the church of Thessalo- nica after his first letter. This letter starts out with reminding the church of Thessalonica to remain steadfast in the midst of persecution 2nd Thessalonians 1:5-12. He then brings about truth to the rumors based around Christ’s second coming that some were saying had already happening, 2nd Thessalonians 2:1-12.
