No it wouldn’t because history is written by those in power- the white colonizers. I agree that black history should be considered a part of British history but the fact that people are so uneducated on black history shows that it has failed to be adequately integrated into British history. Plus the history of Black Britain is very different from the history of white Britain.

Black History Month should be known as Human History Month. There are other ethnic groups of humans out there besides the blacks. Human History Month should be about humans of ALL ethnic groups and not just one specific ethnic group. Same goes for Hispanic History Month. Black History Month and Hispanic History Month should be mixed in with Human History Month, formerly known as Black History Month.
Why don't we just have human history all year round? This is just another form of segregation, albeit with a big fake smile painted on it. For actual respect for each other all history must be valued.
