On my 3rd play through of the 80s season I became rivals with Gilles and we went head to head the entire season but he edged me out in the finale at Monaco. Most fun I’ve ever had not winning a championship.
Nice one mate. I finished the 1980s In 1st by 2 points . Monaco is a real challenge. I’d love to see an online multiplayer added ! Would be so much fun.
over fuelling was heartbreaking, u can fix or replace wing, brakes and gearbox without waiting for the other to complete. Full game is out hope u continue this series.
I recently discovered your channel and really enjoy it. I'm looking forward to picking this game up for PS4 at some point. The is great, the fact that pit strategy is crucial in these short races is really cool, and the personalities and rivalries really are the cherry on top of the whole package. It's just FUN. Imagine that.
Top tip. Get as much money from sponsors perks as you can , get all the cups from checkpoint and elimination races and max out the upgrades on the car.
TIPS: To get a boosted start: you want to have as close to full revs - but NOT full revs - as you can when the lights go out. The higher the revs, the higher the boost. This is worth practicing because you won't be delayed by as many back-markers going into the first turn. In PRO mode, fuel management is absolutely critical. Fuel in NSGP weighs approximately 5 times as much as in reality, so it really counts in the turns. You'll notice that if you go with the preset soft tyre strategy you will pull into the pits after two laps with approximately two bars of fuel still in the tank - more if you have upgraded efficiency. Try selecting the 'custom' option and removing 1.5 bars of fuel (and making a mental note of what you need to refuel to); you'll really notice a difference. Repairs: YOU CAN REPAIR AS MANY THINGS AS YOU LIKE SIMULTANEOUSLY AND CHANGE TYRES TOO. Some take a little longer than others so picking them in the right order will help, but you do not need to wait for one to finish to start the next. Finally, usage of boost. Avoid boosting during gear-changes: it consumes the resource but you get zero benefit. Where possible, avoid boosting when it would lead to additional braking for the next corner: that's also wasted energy. Using boost to push past the car's natural top speed is best reserved for long straights or sweeping corners such as Northampton, where there's time to come off the boost and coast back down to the speed you would naturally be approaching the corner anyway. If the track has no suitable straights, try using boost piecemeal to get up to speed sooner after corners and recover momentum lost to gearchanges (or for overtaking, obviously). Loving the videos - glad you're having fun!
Yeah it seemed that way, to be honest the harsh adversity was sort of refreshing though. Will be more focused and prepared next time this race team visits!

that's awesome. I have the start of season 2 in editing right now, really enjoying this game.
The situation in the first race was about as close as want to get! And finishing at "Monaco" one of my alltime favorite tracks.
Great season 👏 👌

Thanks so much. And yeah it's simply fun, a lot to be said for that.

Those are one and done for me and I don't go back to past race weekends. Just my house rule.

Might need this game rn. I should wait for a sale but it looks SO cool
It's possible to fix several things and get tires in pit at the same time.
Thanks for great videos. Love this game.
Thanks for watching!
The difficulty ramped up big time for me on this race.
