This is basically the Deathscythe Hell EW that I knew and loved from the ol’ Toonami days here in the west, but with more weapons and more mechanical details. Fantastic figure and design! 🙌🏻🙌🏻
Hi Charles how are you? I hope all is well ! So glad to finally see your review! You who were practically the creator of this passion of mine for robotic models. Congratulations for the beautiful review but above all I am so very happy to see you again in your reviews. HI !!! Walter from Rome😊
I wish the same as well. I think should Bandai decide to expand the Gundam W universe, it will more likely be Altron or Heavy Arms custom for the next Gundam. Sandrock custom will be the last one. Epyon is already made under the robot spirits toy line. Quite unlikely to be part of the metal composite line in the near future. We might get a Tallgeese III first for all we know. :)
@@OptimusPrimeSG I could be mistake, but all 5 of the main Gundams have a different armament, they are from the story"Mobile Suit Gundam Wing Endless Waltz: Glory of the Losers" I could see them doing the main 5 at least.
@@Tsuketsu Before the Deathscythe Hell they have released in the GFFMC line the Wing Zero Custom, the Snow White Prelude repaint and the Wing Gundam EW, so I can almost see them releasing the remaining main gundams a couple of times and retooling them into their base forms. If they do a Tallgeese they could sell it up to four times considering the base Tallgeese and its different versions (Tallgeese Fluegel, Tallgeese II and Tallgeese III).
@@krtos7514 I have the updated noble color of the wing zero. And I'm waiting for my deathscythe to be mailed. I was just thinking in terms of armaments, they could theoretically always do different paint schemes to milk more money.
I think toy collecting is going strong. Some collectors slow down or stop but there’s also a steady stream of new collectors when popular anime characters or mechas have merchandises made. Ng’s Collection is no longer active. I last know their shop was in Suntec City but it has closed down some time ago.
Personally, my favorite Gundams are the utilitarian soldier-like Gundams. Heavy Arms is my favorite specifically due to his ridiculous armaments. I do have an old MG Heavy Arms, but I would love to get a nice metal version like this one some day. Thanks for the video, Charles!
I believe there is a good chance for Heavy Arms Customs to be made for the Metal Composite line. It’s either going to be the next one or after Altron Gundam. Personally I hope to get the Heavy Arms Customs first.
I am sure they will release a color variant for this, with the grey color scheme for the legs, which is more anime accurate. You can consider getting it then, :)
I ordered it from Premium Bandai Singapore. The release month is the same as Japan, which is July. I think those who ordered from PBandai USA will get it a month or 2 later, likely due to shipping time from China to USA.
Feeling the same, playing with some MB or GFFMC is so messy that I found myself avoiding them, but some simpler figures are funnier, metal composite doans zaku, and sleggar GM are easier and funnier to handle.
Agree the Zakus feel a lot safer to handle. Same goes for the RX-78. That’s why I’ll just find a nice pose for the Deathscythe and display it. Don’t think I’ll be meddling with it much.
Personally I feel it’s worth the price. The overall design is good but they could have done better for the front skirts to allow for better articulation of the thighs.
The wing and snow white has no issues with articulations with a forward, back, and normal splits. Its ridiculous that this is one of the newer models that articulation is an issue with the skirts. I am so disappointed at bandai!
Agree. This definitely fell short of the high quality we expect from Bandai. I believe they will release a repaint at some point and probably address the design flaw.
I haven't umboxed mines yet. Considering selling it. I'm so glad I didn't order 2 or else I'd be so pissed off. I'm starting to feel bandai be coming short on their figures to get us to buy their products only to release a revised version to fix the flaws. Terrible quality control!
Articulation for the arms are fantastic but poor for the legs because the thighs are blocked by the front skirts that cannot flip open due to the lack of space. For sure Bandai could have done better here.

Hope these Endless Waltz metal builds are precursors to an MG Ver Ka version of the suits
Man this thing is beautiful. So glad to see you still at it and making a new video. Just seen you finished the mazinger I will be watching it next.
Thank you. :)
I had no idea they released this! Argh. My favorite Gundam. Great review.
Thank you. :)
Love this gundam! I just got mine today and i am loving it
Have fun striking a nice dynamic pose with it! :)
@@OptimusPrimeSG I am enjoying it!

Hi Walter, great to hear from you again. I hope you are doing well. 😀 I will try to do more reviews moving forward.
Awesome review as always! good to see ya!
Thank you. :)
Love the design, they really did a good job with this gundam. Wish they do a Epyon and Heavy Arms. Great review.

Great to see another awesome review again! Howzit going over there in Singapore in terms of toy collectin, as Ng's Toy still going strong?

hope there's a mg ver.ka version of this like the wing zero ew
I believe it will happen but after they do a repaint for the Deathscythe, perhaps a midnight black version? :)
Charles my man good to see you and congrats on the new pickup. I regret not pre-ordering from Premium Bandai website.

Whats the difference with these and the metal build robot damashii?
Remind me of destiny gundam a little.. where did you order to get it so quick?
I ordered it from Premium Bandai Singapore. The release month is the same as Japan, which is July. I think those who ordered from PBandai USA will get it a month or 2 later, likely due to shipping time from China to USA.
Getting mine next month, very excited, but im scared mine will have a loose arm like yours, because im pretty sure that's been a common quality issue
It could be a batch problem. I watched another RUclips video where the reviewer’s piece had the exact same loose right shoulder joint.

Are you gonna make another video and show the raven mode or the weapons?
I am not going to review the Raven mode because the transformation will likely cause chips to the paint applications.
@@OptimusPrimeSG yeah that makes sense. Gotcha.
So overall how do you think the gundam? Is it worth the price?

Is the V fin die cast?
It’s not diecast. It’s hard plastic. That’s why you need to be careful when handling the figure and moving the wings to form the cloak.

Too purple. Even more purple than the model kit version. That was acceptable. This is horrendous.
I do concur that it would nicer if it was heavier on grey than purple. But I guess it is likely that we get a repaint of this.
@@OptimusPrimeSG Highly likely it will have another version, probably a lighter purple or a gray hue
Looks cool, but very bad articulation.
Articulation for the arms are fantastic but poor for the legs because the thighs are blocked by the front skirts that cannot flip open due to the lack of space. For sure Bandai could have done better here.
Is it the lighting or some parts are actually dark violet/purple?
Not the lighting. The model kit was already kinda purple. But this here they took too far.
