I LOVE these washcloths!! I no longer buy them! I make all of my washcloths. I love how many different patterns you have for them so I don’t get bored. Thank you Jayda!!! 😃😃😃😃😃
Ty jayda ... as soon as I get some cotton yarn 🧶 I’m making some of these ... so neat ... and I must say YOU AND MR INSTITCHES... HAVE THE MOST PERFECT 👌 CAMERA/ANGLES so you can see every stitch so clearly... love that ... you guys are the best.🥰
Hi Jayda. That was lovely. It's just after half past 3 in the morning here I couldn't sleep so I looked to see what you were showing. Will definitely be making a few if these. Thank you
Thank you so much for your tutorials. They are helping me get their the panic going on in the world. I hope you and all your loved ones are healthy and happy. ❤️
Omg thank you. I finally made a nice even dish cloth. And the borders are all the same. Other videos were telling me to put three stitches at the borders but it came out wonky. I now have all the same shape washcloths ❤ thank you
Hi Jayda! So I’m hoping you look at the comments, because there’s something I’ve really been wanting to make but I’m not as skilled at crocheting as you, so I thought I’d ask-So I have these rocks, real pretty rocks, and I want to make them into a necklace, so I got some crochet thread(I saw these on Pinterest). Well, I thought I could just make up a pattern, but... I can’t, so if you could please, make something where you crochet sorta around a small rock for a necklace. I would really appreciate it so much!! By the way, the finished product is so pretty. You can just look up on Pinterest or google “crochet rocks” or something along theses lines and you’ll see what the heck I mean haha 😂 Thanks for reading I’d you did!🙂 P.S. you’re by far the best and coolest crochet Chanel on RUclips. Super patient and calm! Love ya!
Hi Tessa, we have a tutorial that you might be able to fit around your little rocks - we crocheted around buttons here: ruclips.net/video/P2bhpfrS3kg/видео.html
Such a lovely pattern! Oh my a great stash builder! I may make a bunch for family net year and hostess gifts too. I appreciate your time Jayda and Mr Instiches! (Mama too) 🧶Nameste 🌻🦋🐞💜🐌💚🕉️💙🧶
Hi Brenda, Dishcloths can be made in just about any stitch pattern (it's a great way to practice a stitch too!) AND you can make them any size you like! I like dishcloths that are anywhere between 9 inches across and 7 inches across :)
Reta Gorman, I agree it's okay. When you have more time or more patience or feel like you can do the calendar blanket on your own pace, you will. But all of Jayda's videos are excellent. She never stops thinking.
@@cynthiayuskaitis6422 I love Jsyda. I respect all she does. She's a very good teacher. My point was I need smaller, repetitive projects. Sorry I ruffled ur feathers. Blessings.
Jayda, Are there multiplies to make it bigger? I’m looking to make a cloth that’s around 9 x 9 Inches. Jeanne P.s. I will be starting that big basket pattern this week in the Bernat Homemaker Dec.. so I will keep you posted to let you know how it works out!
Hi Jeanne, there is no multiple for this project :) You can chain a length that is 9 inches, add 1 chain and sc as many rows as you need to reach 9 inches. Then add the simple little border and done!
Thank you so much for this video. I found the edging incredibly difficult to do and I messed up the last corner so it is square; not round-ish like the other 3 corners! What did I do wrong!!??? Who knows!!! How terrible would it look if I left it without a border?
Hi Mariana, you can leave off the border, especially if you're rows are fairly even and tight. Plus, it's a washcloth, it doesn't have to be gorgeous! If you want to try the border again, simply mark off the 4 corners with stitch markers before you start the border, this way when you get to a stitch marker, you'll know it's a corner and how to treat it 💗
Hi Nadia! We have a couple of hair scrunchie tutorials here: ruclips.net/video/gfhhEhIBuhA/видео.html and here: ruclips.net/video/SPXyQ-1Gol0/видео.html
Can you please recommend a good cotton yarn to use for washcloths? I used Caron Cotton Cakes, but found they got stiff when wet. Is there a good Cotton yarn, that stays soft when wet? Thanks ☺️
Hi! The only cotton yarn we've used much around here is Bernat Handicrafter. It doesn't get stiff when wet, we find it remains fairly soft, but it the stitches will spread, so using tight tension with it helps :)
I LOVE these washcloths!! I no longer buy them! I make all of my washcloths. I love how many different patterns you have for them so I don’t get bored. Thank you Jayda!!! 😃😃😃😃😃
sweetie, do you mind sharing what kind of cotton yarn you like to use? I'm trying to find something soft.
Hi Gretchen! I do too, we haven't purchased washcloths or dishcloths in years :)
I have been wanting a simple little pattern for washcloths. This is perfect. I have made so many of your things. You are awesome with your ideas.

I am making a bunch of these to donate to a homeless shelter. Thanks for a great pattern, Jayda!!

Love your videos. Going to make a bunch of these for the bathrooms here. Pretty and practical.
That's what I've been busy doing * giggle *
I was using a cotton with 131 yds. I used a 5mm hook. I got three 6x6 inch washcloths with a few yds left.
Thank you for sharing that info, very helpful! 😊
Love this cute project!
So fun! Thank you!!
Hi Jackie, we're glad you enjoyed it!
First!!! Love you jayda
Ahhh! Hi Tre :)
Love this
Another great little project. 💖💖💖
Glad you like it, Naomi!
Very pretty washcloth! I would make mine bigger though.
Hi! For a larger washcloth, you can begin with a foundation chain of any length and then sc until it's the height you want - then add the border :)
Easy to do
Thank you Jayda ❤️xx😊Amanda

What is a normal size for dishcloths n can they be done in a double crochet stitch I apologize am kinda learning your explanation are very clear thanx

Hi Jo! Are knee warmers like leg warmers? We have a tutorial on those here: ruclips.net/video/0iHxcq1LUFA/видео.html
Hi! Would you kindly please make a cardigan long. up to above the knees?
Thank you very much.
Hi Catherine, thank you for the suggestion :)
Thank you for doing something small and easy. I feel left out with calendar blanket.
Reta Gorman It’s okay I don’t have the experience yet to do it either. Maybe I’ll try when I’m better at crocheting.
