I have to admit, the Rolex Explorer is to my eye one of the most understated and beautiful watch ever made….and yet I like the hour and minute hands on the Lorier a lot more. Honestly considering the Falcon as my 40th Birthday watch.
If I didn't already have the other similar watches, the Falcon III would have been the perfect one watch collection. I hope you get it and enjoy for decades!
there are many reviews of this watch, but it's rare to find one w/ criticisms. as someone considering purchase, i thank you for a balanced and reasonable review.
@@stevez4286 thank you for watching. It's a great watch and if I didn't have the others in my collection it would make the perfect one watch collection.
I often think back about this watch. Had it for a month or so and I do miss it. If I had to sell my Explore tomorrow, I would definitely buy me a Falcon. Excelent video friend 🙋🏻♂️
Always come back to the Lorier Falcon when i have the occasional itch for something Explorer-ish. Thinking about it as a special milestone watch, something that i can wear any day anywhere and that will always bring a good memory. Nice video and lovely Omegas too!
I sold the Neptune IV because the lume at the hour hand was almost impossible to see after a few minutes in the dark while the hour markers remained. Wonder if that happens too with this one.
I love my Falcon. But, you said "no modification", but I am very tempted to give a brushed finish to the hands, so as to hide the very small portion of luminous paste on the arrow of the hours, plus it can reflect the light even better because polished they get lost with the black dial. Please help me; convince me not to do so.
@@favoritethings3065 The original Batman yeah! Maybe it’s just my ears. I’m seriously considering the Lorier Astra (when available) so stumbled upon your very thorough review of the Falcon. Seems like their 36mm is not too small for 6.75-7inch wrists!
Yeah, from certain angles those high polished hands blend into the dial...this is actually worse with my Railmaster which I will likely be selling in the future.
@@tpn8402 hello and thank you for watching and commenting! Yes, correct. Like most automatic movements this Miyota is hand-windable, but it's a different feel and experience from a purely hand-wound movement with no rotor. I've discussed this in a previous video: ruclips.net/video/HQldM_j161M/видео.htmlsi=nA0MEFYeGw6Zty2G

Thanks for your comments about this excellent watch. It was an excellent all around every day watch. Wear yours in good health!
Best review I've seen of this watch. Personally I cannot get over the honeycomb dial. It's such a weird design decision.
Tha ks for watching and commenting. Yeah, that dial was the only detail that I didn't grown on me and win me over.
I enjoyed seeing the comparisons in this video, and they can all coexist with each other

Hello!... I have it on eBay actually, but I'll check that before I sell it. I also have to watch your SOTC video.....
Hi @@favoritethings3065 so you are finally selling it? if you can check the lume thing I would appreciate.
Love my Falcon 3.
Good review thanks!

@@medicenquillos keep it original!....Trust in the design elements put into the watch by Lorier. If something better comes around, flip it.

Michael Keaton, is that you? 😛 Nice review!

Interesting piece
i have the falcon , hard to tell time with those silver hands , my watch my experience ..

Isn't this Miyoya movement supposed to be hand windable?......

It is in fact windable... I would have your's checked..
@@johnmiranda9310 I know it's windable, but I meant I wish it was HAND WIND ONLY without a rotor.
