take the x-maxx .... or buy a heavy duty set with the xrt - it,s a plastic fantastic - you gonna need heavy duty ---- 1 year this is not your car yet .but keep rolling
@@RCFinzi really take the baddest most gangster traxx - to a 1 year old rookie runner -- are you kidding me here --- . i give it 2 weeks and is in pieces - take the x-maxx and wait 1 year more then i am ok - but this have disatester written al over it --- x-maxx--- all the way
Its a beast put some really high c rating lipos in there and swap the pinion for the bigger one they gave ya its a blast. I have the xmaxx but will get a xrt soon.
Now you just have to replace the esc at minimum to make it an actual basher. Every Traxxas I owned and still own gets the electronics replaced, as well as the spur and pinion. The velinion stuff is ok if you just want to tinker around your neighborhood. But if you’re trying to go to construction sites, quarries and anything with water you’ll get a couple runs out of it before it’s dead. And they have lack luster power. Unless you put the 6s system in the regular maxx then the power is there.

I’m pissed me and my boy were hoping for years that they would remake the e-Revo we already got more modern ones last year but this is definitely next on the list.
They did remake it. The e-revo 2.0 gas and electric. My little brother has one. It breaks every single time he uses it. Eats gears like a starving lion. He's had it 2 months, already so bad he has to take the batteries out just to turn it off. Sadly not worth the money. All these new traxxas products are money pits unfortunately. Xmaxx is probably the only traxxas I'd recommend, even those lately have been having ESCs blow almost out of the box on first runs.
@@Dad_Noir That's strange. I have the same Revo and a few other Traxxas trucks and have had no issues with them yet. Welly X0-1 did have a faulty esc out of the box that wouldn't let me unlock it for top speed but they replaced it for me free of charge even though it was a couple months out of warranty.
