Finally got mine. Also in UK but grew up in the states. They had a 10k, 9 MM in stock which is exactly what I wanted so I bought. I had just bought a uk Cuban bracelet from top jewellery less than 2 months ago, also 9 karat, 9 mm but just wasn't that happy with it. Sold that, lost a lot of money on it unfortunately but knew I couldn't keep my eyes off the garcia one. Was supposed to be here in 2 days but customs opt for a week, super infuriating, esp when shipping was £170 and customs fees were over £400. This has been one hell of a pricey purchase now. I finally got my new piece yesterday, absolutely love it. I do wish I'd asked for diamond box lock now, but it's whatever. As mentioned Renee is brilliant and very helpful!!
Nice! I like how polished it is. Looks more on the flat side rather than the traditional bubbley style? Would've liked to see the working of the sleek lock.

Yes, FedEx will kindly send you the invoice before they deliver, (like they’re doing you a favour) ha ha. Can I ask how much customs ended up costing? I'm in UK but used to live in US, I bought my Cuban in UK because I didn't wanna deal with customs cost. Got a couple IF&CO Jesus pieces though.

If you’re looking at ordering from the states, I’d say go for it. IMO, the quality out of the states is unmatched, and so far, I cannot find anything in the UK that can compete. All the best

Only issue now is that because of their continued success, their waiting times have gone from 2 - 4 weeks (when I ordered this piece) to 8 - 12 weeks (last time I checked). It’s a tricky question for me now. Ha ha. Hands down, before my bracelet I’d have said the CMG links all day long, but the way this GJM piece hits from certain angles, I really can’t say. The struggle is real……
That’s the natural colour, I think the lighting gave it a more intense look. At the time of ordering (6 months ago), GJM were not flash dipping their products. Not sure if this is still the case today though…..

Dude as long as you don’t overpay you get the karat you pay for. The karat debate is plain dumb. Stick to 24/999 fine gold items with coins/ bullion 10-18Kt for jewelry is fine.
Honestly, for me it’s about affordability mainly, but also, imo I can’t really see too much of a visible difference between 10k and 14k on the naked eye. In the end, go with what works best for your pocket and what you feel comfortable with. Growing up, I’ve always dealt with 9ct, so 10k is an upgrade for me. Ha ha
Nothing wrong with 10k if that’s what your budget/preference will allow. Ngl, I’ve seen quite a few videos on 10k items tarnishing really bad so it might be time for that 14k upgrade. 😫

@Cuban Link Lover from the UK Did you request that they engrave their name on the lock, or did they just do it on their own?
I think they run an opt out system as opposed to an opt in system in that regard, as I didn’t request the engraving personally.
