Its a shame I would have never understood this in school. Now that I'm thinking of it as concrete and I can wrap my brain around what numbers are representing (the fractions as inches or a cubic yard) it suddenly makes perfect sense. Some kids would probably be a lot more successful with math if they had a hands on approach to teaching the basic concepts. Thanks for making me feel like I'm not as dumb as I thought.
I was wondering the same thing. He should've explained that. We come in to RUclips to watch videos to learn and videos like this don't explain it all....I'm not a concrete person

As you age your brain gets stronger from practice.
Good info. Direct and to the point. No bs
The easiest formula to learn. I like it.
Made more sense of this in 1 minute than a class teacher would in 1 hour
Thank you! I’m currently studying construction management and this helped me so much!!!
Thank You Sir!
Direct / Simple and to the point.
Glad it helped.
Hell yeah!!!! Thank you boss.
Awesome!!! 😎
I understand the formula but where did you get 27?
cubic yard is 3feetx3feetx3feet= 27 so 27 cubic feet is one cubic yard.
Thanks
27 because: 1 cubic yard equals 27 cubic feet..
thank you for this bro
How to get volume for construction test
Yes sir.
This was so fast and made no sense at all.. You make it sound like your just grabbing numbers out of the air without any reason.
Lateral line trench formula
how did you "round up" from 12.34 to 13.6?
Because of industry standard you add like 5 percent incase the floor isnt even
If you rounded down, your job would be short by .34 yards of concrete. You need to always round up when ordering materials.
THANKS
Where the heck does the 27 come from.
27 cubic feet in 1 cubic yard ..your initial measurements are in feet so you convert to cubic yards by dividing by 27
Thank you, I should have known that.

Why 12
@@robleromunoz7755 yea I dont get why he has the 12 there
Why 27 as the denominator?
3ft = 1 yard
3ft x 3ft x3ft = 27cft = 1cyd
Volume = 3D
3ft x 3ft = 9sft = 1syd
Area = 2D
No I got why 27?
Why you used it 12
Because each foot is 12 inches.

It is just an example using the numbers I chose. Just replace my numbers with your project and it will work.
L x W x T =? / 324 is easier
less math
Why do you use 27?
Because there are 27 sq feet in one cubic yard
hard to understand anything you said u must speak chinese would be easer
You could also learn to write a proper sentence and spell out your words. Thank you for wasting time just to be negative. Bravo 👏
