- Side by side ride through the Missaukee ORV Route just north of Manton, MI. We tried to capture the special sights of the Missaukee ORV Route.
Day one of riding ORV Routes for 6 days straight. We started our week long route riding adventure on a Monday at the Missaukee trailhead just north of Manton, Michigan. It was a wet and overcast day from raining the night before and morning of. We had a blast splashing through the puddles and exploring the route.

What are you using for your GPS ?
Geo Tracker app to record where I've been because I like the way I can use it to upload my ride to my desktop via Google Drive. I sometimes use Polaris Ride Command, especially if I need a good reference of legal roads/trails to ride. I also started using Avenza and downloading the MVUM of the area I'll be riding, which provides a great reference of legal roads and trails, including forest road numbers. All three apps are free. All three I run with my cellphone. I keep the cellphone plugged in to the 12 volt outlet of my sxs, so the phone stays fully charged.
@@ATVG right on, I was just curious, cause I have a RZR xp 4 1000 with the ride command, but I'm thinking about getting a Kawasaki teryx 4 seater and they do not have a GPS like ride command, ride command is great up in Michigan for me. But I'm trying to figure what I'm going to use next when I don't have the ride command. I could always use it on my phone but my phone doesn't always have service
Where's a good place to camp along that trail? Rustic and not crowded is preferable.
Check out Manton Trails RV Park for the closest to the trailhead. For rustic, look into camping in a state forest via this link: www.michigan.gov/dnr/places/state-parks/rules
