Robin Thicke is one of one. He and Jon B didn't use black culture to cater to a commercial crowd. They stayed true to the culture and are some real ones.
Man i knew Robin was a talented artist. I just never knew how dope he is as a person . This is easily in my top 10 favorite Episodes of Drink Champs . Solid Genuine humble dude.

Robin comes across in an interview the same way that he does in his music, pure and genuine. He was literally nurtured among greatness, being fed by real fixtures in our culture. How beautiful to hear how much he was nurtured as a child and as an artist.
This is the first time I think Nore was gonna let some man tears fly. This was a beautiful and touching interview about life, loss and triumphs. Much ❤ to everyone.
I just found out by listening to another podcast that Alan Thicke also put in a good word for Alex Trebek to become the host of Jeopardy back in 1984. Man he was connected. RIP.
I like this interview. The name dropping is cool. It's good to know who has been around him and his family as he was growing up. Plus the people he has worked with. It's all cool.
I already loved and have been a fan of him since “when I get you alone”, but to know he wrote and produced for so many people, studied from the greats, etc…made me love him even more! Salute to him!
Wow! Just wow! Totally enjoyed everything about this episode. Robin is authentic. I literally clapped on his response to the Vulture Culture question... It's also crazy to look at him and not see his father, Alan Thicke..Y'all gave him his Well Deserved Roses/Flowers.... Salute 💐🌹🏆

I appreciate this conversation, I'm a huge Robin Thicke fan. I have Mya, Christina Aguilera, 3T, Brandy, Pink, Jordan Knight, CDs and would see his name listed in the credits back in the 90s. I have his CDs, just like Lenny Kravitz I enjoyed the "Paula" CD I can feel his emotions. Robin is truly a real artist for soulful and Jon B I want to see those two collaborate one day.
Liking this before even viewing, I absolutely adore Robin Thicke. I met him years ago at Union Station and he was so nice. It was 6 am and he sang his heart out. His first album was an absolute classic! 💜
He said his first album was a flop, its when most of us discovered him and became a real fan because he had talent and made some serious songs. When I get you alone and Stupid Things??? Man these are songs that still resonate with a lot of us.

From Alan and growing pains to Robin, I have them to thank for contributing to who Iam as a woman, when i was about 13, I left and went on Amerax and got on the train to Philadelphia from Jacksonville. I took two C.D.s'. The main one was his whole album and the evolution of robin Thicke , for about 18 hours, I took him in as a man, i understood us as humans , we have the same issues inside in out, its about being compassionate, just like he said in tie my hand , I could feel him in my soul. In all reality he saved my life at my lowest points in my life, multiple times, threw out my life, I know he is the Messager and this is just the creator message, that he is giving us .....
Glad to hear everything from Robin Thicke. Would've completely preferred to just hear the questions said to Robin and just let him answer it and tell all his stories. Such an interesting life and a guy I enjoy hearing from in music and in his life.
Damn Robin saying to get out more hit me in the chest! You think staying home and insulated and keeping the circle small is a good thing but you don’t realize there’s so much love outside too🥺
Robin knows all the big players in the music game, didn't realise all the big things he did for a lot of them. Been putting in that work from him being a young teenager 💯👏🏼
