Hidding behind theology books might seem more creative but eventually clothing made from leaves or bar(k)t still leaves the hidder or sinner afraid of the voice of the divine. Systems and paradigms leave the naked man still lacking the experience of the breath of God. The only salvation is the pure breath of Christ conveyed through His Spirit. creating beings that express the divine both in image and word.
I think that he is saying that the problem that man accumulated in the garden is not dealt with in Barth. So maybe he is thinking in dealing with the issue Barth deals with, there is hiding from the real issue that is handled by the Lord.
