- This trailer reaction came as a request from a few people. It is a Hindi film that came out in 2018. Very beautiful cinematography and costume design.
The music was also very elegant.
In medieval India, a tyrannical sultan and his army attack a prosperous kingdom to try and capture the beautiful Queen Padmavati. Her husband Maharawal Ratan Singh assembles his valiant forces to defend his land and the honor of his beloved wife.

Rajputs are like merceneray kings. They used to serve Mughals, then the British, that is during their free time when they were not busy fighting each other. The johar pratha started because of their in fighting. In fact, historically, Khilji never even met the Rajput King who is allegedly the husband of Padmavati. The King had already been killed in a war with other Rajput Kings and the women committed suicide as was the norm.
