Power on the chip would merely make it possible to turn on the open drain transistor so the line is pulled low. I would make sure that the pull-up resistor has power; that power being absent could make the line low abnormally. Of course, they might have the same supply so that checking either is checking both.

Well, turn out Louis got the correct way to eat sushi, without mixing the soy sauce and wasabi, it become a mess.

Wasabi is the one type of heat you could get away with. It doesn't last and will clean out your nasal cavity.
If it was a really hot pepper, I would ask for a heck of a lot more than $50 for the much longer suffering lol

You're supposed to eat the wasabi with the fish. Not mixed with the soy sauce. You've been doing it the 'right' way all along.
Oh, btw since you're in nyc. You can get fresh (real) wasabi from mitsuwa market place in New jersey.

I’ve eaten a load of wasabi raw accidentally a few times… And honestly, while I wouldn’t eat a load of it like that normally, it wasn’t that bad really. I mean, it burnt of sorts, sure. But it really cleared the sinuses and whatnot. Nice in a way

Why are you so shaky all of a sudden? At 17:27 onward, watching you shake so much while trying to get those resistors on is crazy. You're normally very steady when you do stuff like this.

Maybe a dumb question, but how do you clean your soldering iron so easily? I've been using a quartz block or however it's called for the last few years, that my dad gave me with the soldering iron. But it's definitely not doing a good job at cleaning most of the time or i'm doing something wrong :/
