Go back to Deep Purple Mach I and you can hear the classical influence in the music. Songs like April were magnificent. I like to think Jon would have started going back to his rock roots and incorporating classical music with it. Something unique and different that he showed us glimpses of along the way. Concerto for Group and Orchestra.
