Hi! I just discovered your channel. I’ve been watching several of your videos today and I’m so impressed with you and your family. ☀️🍃🌺 What an amazing life you and your children are creating. 😊 What a beautiful and brave Mom you are, to have been a newly divorced mother, and move you and your children far away and built a new life for your family. I really respect you! May God richly bless you and your family, your garden and all your endeavors. ❤ ~ from Deirdre in NE Oklahoma
Oh thank you so much! What a lot of nice things you have to say. It's been scary for sure but always felt right so I just have to keep going. Thank you! You made my day!
You should set up an Amazon store front for things you need to garden, cook, or for your children. There are so many people that are generous. God bless.
Aww, you’re so sweet!! How do I do that? Do I just post the link on my contact info? You’re right, I’ve already been blessed by peoples generosity and I can’t wait to start giving back.
Very nice garden! It's wonderful that each child has their own box. Have ever thought about getting miniature citrus trees like orange, tangerine, lemon, and lime? Putting them in large containers with wheels and when it's colder put them in room with all windows. Also, doing separate pumpkin patch for people to come pick their own pumpkins. Maybe add a scarecrow or two!
We do have one lemon tree! It's our first time. A good friend gave it to me. We'll see how I do with it. :) I would love to do a PYO pumpkin patch. I think that would be really fun. I would have to dig up one of our pastures and plant them there and figure out a way to keep out the deer, but it would be fun. I love fall and could make it kinda picturesque. I'd have to figure out how to do a parking lot and all that, so it's just an idea right now.
I do homeschool coaching, write and sell lesson plans on my blog, babysit, run nature camps, and do lots of other odd jobs while my business grows. It's been very tight and stressful, but family has helped out when needed. I know it takes time and hours of hard work and can't wait until my business is making enough to live comfortably. We are extremely frugal in the meantime.
Yes, absolutely if we need it. But with our own garden/fruit trees/eggs (and milk/yogurt/cheese when we had our cow) plus food stamps we are doing well. I'm really hoping to wean off food stamps entirely as my income grows.
I'm so impressed how well each child can take care of their own garden box, even the young ones. Wow!
I love that each child has a box. A great learning opportunity

Very valuable lessons that aren’t taught in public schools

Amazing children ❤
You probably already know this but the cilantro seeds are the spice, coriander. You can use them fresh or dried and ground to season food. ❤❤
I love spicy peppers that make muy mouth on fire!
Nice👍
Just curious what do you do for a living? How do you make money to support your family?

Can the cburch help with food

Were are the other 4 of your children?
They are in college. They come home for summers and Christmas though.
