  • How my kids excel at the piano without any formal lessons. Piano lessons are expensive and time consuming. See my method of how I've been helping all 10 teach themselves piano, stay motivated, and bring the joy of music into our home. It's easy and you can do it too!

Marcie( sorry if I spelled it wrong). I LOVE your channel!!! I hope you realize how AMAZING you are. You give me so much inspiration. With motherhood and homeschooling I have had so much stress and anxiety but since I’ve found your videos I have learned to let go of everyone’s overwhelming expectations and to go with what I feel inspired to do. You have so much courage and knowledge that I am learning from. God bless you and your precious family. 💗🤗

Oh thank you, Smiley!! (I don't know your real name and yes, you spelled mine right:)) I've had a lot of doubt this weekend if a channel was the right thing to do and if it would ever provide income for my family or make a difference for anybody. Maybe it's all a waste of time and I could touch people's lives a different way.
This is just what I needed to hear! Thank you so much! I'm so happy to hear you've let go of others' expectations and follow your own inspiration. God gave you your children to raise and he will tell you exactly how to do that that is right for you and your family. God told Noah to build a boat and he told Moses to part the sea. Both had the same problem of saving their people, but different answers.
One way I really want to make a difference is reducing mom's anxiety and stress and help them to see they're doing an awesome job. I'm so glad to hear you're feeling better. Thank you for telling me!

Thank you! I like that: "expert at finding a way." I love how you worded it. Maybe that's my hidden talent. I don't feel good at very many things, so I like that. Thank you!

That was beautiful! I hope to hear more videos of them playing. It sounds like you have a real piano now?
    Who was playing sleigh ride?
I took piano lessons but had to memorize how to play everything since I was not able to read music.

Spencer was on the left and their good friend and neighbor, Kristen, on the right. She was having a mini recital for her kids and wanted Spencer to play that song with her as inspiration. It was the recital Marcie mentioned in her video where they played that song without practicing together.

Yes, we were given a real piano several years after getting the digital one. Sorry if I didn't explain that very well. And yes, my mom is right. Spencer is playing sleigh ride with our neighbor. do you still play the piano? I had a blind friend in Utah who could play really well. I've never been able to play by ear or memorize music very well. That's a great talent.

I think LDS children are usually extremely talented and smart above other kiddos. It just seems like they can excel above and beyond. Not trying to say anything bad about other kids or religions, it's just things I've seen and observed. I don't know how many years in a row it was a LDS child who was Our Validitorian and salutatorian.

I am a convert of the LDS church. I don't think it has to do being smart or talented, but rather a culture where dedication and hard work has more value than immediate gratification and other gimmicks. In our church, it is also encourage to constantly strive to educate ourselves at all ages of life. It is true that compared to many churches I have been, I have never seen that many people enjoying music (looking at my fellow ward members) and being directly or indirectly involved with this art. I am not talking about the pop music of nowadays. I mean traditional music, classical, etc. It doesn't matter how good you are, you just do it. And because you keep doing it, you get better. At my church, I am in the adult choir and sometimes, I perform piano recitals for the ward.
