RE1’s save room theme might be the one I think of immediately. I find it a little eerie-sounding with that high, lengthy tone that wavers a bit in pitch before the melody starts over again. It’s hard to describe but if there’s any musical tone that does that, I find it unsettling 😄 That makes the track sound like ‘safe yet lonely’ to me
I think I speak for the majority of Resident Evil when I say “Village had a save room theme!?”😂
RE VII save theme is my alarm tone! Absolutely love that piece of music.
Such a clever name for a segment! So we're not counting results screens as save room themes then? RE5 definitely has that save room theme feel but maybe results screens need their own Tier Death Experience episode then.
For me, Dead Aim's save room theme is S rank. Sorry. xD

Solid list! Mine would be pretty similar. A very interesting conversation to have no doubt. 0 for me is much higher however. I can't really put my finger on it, but it just hits a spot with me.

Gutted you guys didn't cover RE3 remakes cover of the RE2 save room - that did some great things and was a real mix between re2 and the remake
Yeah, it was a tough call on whether we should include it or not. It at least gets a nod in a future episode of another show we do :)
Before i watch code Veronica has to be no1 for me
I can see why RE3 got the top spot due to its awesome musical arrangement and sense of foreboding, but I can’t hum a melody or immediately recall it as much as RE2’s catchy, iconic theme. I can hum the RE2 save room piano melody and the little synth parts in between, and it’s so iconic that I guarantee RE fans will know what tune it is. I can’t hum the orchestration of RE3’s at all to be recognisable to anyone. There’s too many layers making up a whole. It’s more complex.
So while I agree with the S row ranking in terms of musical execution and sense of atmosphere, RE2 would have taken the top spot for me in terms of how memorable the tune is. 🙂
Really enjoyed this episode of Tier Death Experience. I especially enjoyed the fun and unusual descriptions of how the music makes you all feel. 😃

The best save room theme....
I feel like re2 save room is too overrated it’s gets old very fast
We gone put cv in c rank ? And re1 remake under the original?? Jesus at this point just call this what is the most nostalgic theme of re … in music terms and over all feeling cv and re1 remake even 0 should be an s rank theme tho whole point of the save room theme is to feel safe .re2 and 3 dont give that off at all cuz it sound apocalyptic and give a feeling of dread ..while re0 1 cv 4 even dead aim give a feeling of relief .. re2 and 3 mainly 3 don’t give that feeling at all .. now before I didn’t say there bad but there very overrated in all honesty
