In regards to Slayer Pirates (a.k.a. "Sea Slayers") the thing you must take note of is that Dwarfs take their honor very seriously. So if a Dwarfen sailor loses a shipment of ale, or if a captain survives a shipwreck (i.e. doesn't go down with the ship) then he has dishonored himself, and is obligated to take the Slayer Oath. However, the Dwarf is still pledged to his duties as a sailor or ship's captain, in which case he can't abandon ship to become a regular Slayer (the whole point of Slayers is that they're trying to regain their honor by dying, so they can't afford to do something dishonorable). This is why Dwarfen seamen become Sea Slayers, and they often take up work as privateers for the Dwarfen Navy, hence why they're more commonly known as "Slayer Pirates".
@@SoulRuninFreeThat is just the tip of this 'pun-nishing' iceberg. Hopefully for this campaign i get it together to bring down the 'war-hammer' with my masterpieces 😄
11:26 I like that the buffs are now factionwide there kinda like how Ghorst buffs zombies for everyone. More LL should have skills that buffs units factionwide instead of just their own army imo.
Iv watched you play this game for years and today iv finaly figured out why i watch soley you and no other streamer. Its the obscure references that you throw in that im sure 90% of your viewers are too young to truely appreciate. Im pushing 40 myself and its the little things like that simpsons reference that make me smile. I appreciate your efforts 😂
New player here, talked into the game by my cousins but dang it's a steep learning curve. Your videos are a great resource! Appreciate all the insights, subbed
Hey great idea to watch the great book of grudges explain those mechanics! Off i go. Well after this maybe. Here more for the comedy and fails than actual gameplay.
Oh my sweet buttery Jesus H. Christ on a stick with His thorny crown!!!!!!!! As an avid dawiphile who has mained dwarf armies since I was introduced to Fantasy TT as a child by my dad, I have always fucking dreamed of a cannon dwarf who actually innovates!! I have already started my own playthrough but I am anxious to see how you get along with it!
Thunderbarge is just awesome. It was in the Trailer and it seems to be aswell in the game. Also the reworks for all the dlc factions will make me and my friends finally want to play several campaigns again.
Now this is a Dawi I'd play. Love his shot gun and legit want it. 3 rotating barrels of a glorious dawi boomstick. Funny enough my grandpa gave me the same kind of shotgun as in Evil Dead. So yeah, i got a boom stick to fight with the Dawi. Or as they'd call it, a Grudge Raker.
@@MonstersAbound From what I've seen and heard, Ungrim got quite a bit of love in his skill tree to the point where he outclasses Malakai on raw Slayer output, though I do imagine being able to confederate the 2 together is still going to be even better. So don't you worry about Ungrim being left in the dust~
It's unique and looks like it'll be fun from a lore perspective, going on Slayer adventures to beef up your tech toys. It's not the most powerful or impactful, but I still really like it.
Dont tell the dawi that they copied the greenskins with their whole "new" grudge system... Straight to the book for whoever thought up that one at CA. I bet they had a laugh about that internally. "It's the dawi innovation dlc!" Lol.
You dont like elon eh? Thing i like about him is he actually tries with the brass balls of him willing to risk everything to do what hes trying to. Cant make fun of a fat dude going to the gym because hes trying. But you can make fun of fat people for never making the attempt. Same thing here. Picking on a dude trying to advance us is literally the same hombreh. If we do go to space then ill die happy. And if he is an alien trying to go home to mars then atleast ill die with the knowledge that aliens actually exist. Until then i hope i live long enough to see either or
You're not wrong. He is one of the only people pushing that stuff. Which makes it all the more galling he's a complete tool. It's not hard to be a good and decent person, especially when you have that much money and power. Yet he successfully fails at it on a daily basis it'd be almost impressive if it wasn't so saddening.
Whilst I am excited to play Malakai, I cant say I'm overly happy with the portayal of the Spirit of Grungni. The books make it out to seem like a massive derigible equivalent to the Hindenburg. It was capable of holding and launching a full wing of Gyrocoptors and was enclosed to protect the occupants from the winds of the Chaos Wastes. Instead they just make it another Thunder Barge. Kind of boring.
I get the feeling that something bigger would have issues with moving around and interacting with the game world. I get the complaint but it's probably the biggest unit currently in the game.
@@MonstersAbound I don't really need it as a unit in the game, just a more accurate model in the over map would be nice. It could have abilities like limited use artillery or a single spawn in of gyrocopters per battle would be cool.

Well... I learned something, but forgot how to drive.
Could say malakai made 'short' work on that nurgle army 😄
50 grudge points to you!
Haha I hate that actually made me laugh

Going from Nurgle to Dwarves... quite the change in that first battle smell. Smells like ale and gunpowder.

Three Videos on one day what have we done to deserve this great treat my good sir
Gotta feed that algorithm
The Omnisaha must be fed
Good to know that you recognize Musk as who he really is.

Well you do have access to magic now, since Ulrika can now also be recruited by any dwarf faction

Seeing the start then the blurb... makes me really miss the campaign flyovers, hope they come back eventually.

I like to imagine the other Dwarfen Lords hearing Malakai managed to invade Hellpit and take it and exclaiming "He did WHAT!?".

It is indeed, looking forward to getting my sweaty little hands on more of them
This playthrough has only one episode? That's a bit short
Finally the dwarves get even more interesting! I cant wait to get a new computer and tinker with these new dwarf mechanics and units.

I have this vision of Malakai using the followers of Nurgle to create mustardgas-like grenades after this battle :P
I always found the concept of land ships more interesting than airships cause they always seem to either blimps or helicarriers
Nice, two in one
That's what she said
Haven't watched yet but YESSSSSS!!!!! So glad my boy got picked, thank you MA thank you Patrons :D
Haha now he has the giant floating ship with guns
I have 1200 hours playing Warhammer and never done a dwarf campaign. So i think malakai will be 1st as it looks pretty good
They are pretty versatile now
I hope one day they are going to give the engineers gyrocopter mount like in sfo
At least the mortal tells the truth…
As best as he knows it…
I wonder which lord would be a good coop partner for Malakai here
MA, you're a crack dealer, no more, no less. Never change :)
Eh, it's a living (if anyone from the authorities is reading this I am not actually a drug dealer, I've never even smoked pot)
I heard Ungrim is insane now if in command of army of slayers
Well no doubt because he's heard how awful he is compared to Malakai

slightly dissapointed with the malaki quest mechanics but
looks pretty good when you consider the dwarf rework

may want to reorganize your playlist 1 is near the middle and 7 is first lol
i think they mega buffed ungrim so he makes slayers much much better
MA, gyrocopters with steam gun have AP now
As they should, I've never seen anyone in plate armour not worry about having their skin roiled off with blisteringly hot steam
If you lose a thunder barge are you going to say "oh the humanity!"?
Absolutely, the same way I say "You maniacs! You blew it up! Damn you!" When a rogue idol dies
It is kinda triggering that you don't see that relationship between Kislevites is improving.
It's improving I just don't trust the bear fuckers to help me
Touché.
Upvoted for the Elon joke.
so the plan is to get an army with 10 artillery right?
