So if a man owns a business , he is not allowed to take his earnings while enlisted ? Obviously that is not the case , it makes no sense . Men who enlist for the temp period is still able to access their own funds , the stipend they receive does not mean they not allowed to get money into their account , they can't physically do other work while in the military and there debt commitment is placed on hold legally but they not prevented from receiving their income from whatever business they perhaps have , maybe own property , leasing to tenants , the income does not stop , they allowed to receive it . They not allowed to obviously be distracted by being an active landlord

@@user-nn2lv7cm5b Yep... you can only earn/spend the daily/weekly money that you earn in your unit for the time you serve... if you get promoted to a higher rank, then you get 'paid' more... which is why when Jin was promoted to Sergeant, he used 2mths of his money to send to Jimin for his bday... and also bought food for his unit members at his base.

Idols can’t earn income during their military service or do anything that can be considered promotion. The company will hold on to the earnings until they finish their military service. Hybe and Bighit are releasing pre-recorded albums during their service time. Of course they can access their funds. They can even maintain their businesses but get permission first. You can do a deep dive into it, I’m not claiming to know everything. I was just answering their questions with the tidbits of information that came from the Bts members and Hybe.

He doesn’t sing his background vocals, and they do choose to drop some things due to the dancing, they go on the backing track. I love that they just obviously skip it instead of lip syncing. For live performances they have to do it that way. These vocals were raw and gorgeous. There is a cute clip of Jimmy in the studio when Jimin was recording this. There is a lot of Bts content on Fallon. He is a Jimin Bias. Have you watched the interviews on Fallon? He has had Bts many times but also had Jimin, Suga,and JK on there individually. They even have cute skits with Jimmy. Ty!
I have only seen Jimin on Fallon once for his 'Face' album, but I did see the clip of Jimmy in the studio. Also we watched just two performances of BTS on Fallon with the tight stage and RM had to walk over the lights. Regarding your questions. Jimin prerecorded this performance, he entered the military service on Dec 12 2023 with Jungkook. Jimmy Fallon actually heard the song before it was released because he bumped into Jimin while he was recording something else on the same building where Jimin was working with producer Tommy Brown.
Regarding if the BTS members were asked to perform inside the military, I am not sure. I know that BTS members participated in group dance/talent shows common in the military life. However there was a big controversy when it was discovered that BTS photos were used on The Camp, an app used to send letters to those serving in the military. BTS's agency HYBE asked The Camp, to stop using the band members' names and pictures without consent. They did stop.
Anyway, Jin is out and working hard on a new album and JHope (our sunshine) is coming back this October.

✨It’s amazing the so many things Jimin worked on, so many places Jimin went, all that he did non stop, including filming in the abandoned unused resort in Korea, where the Tonight show performance, was filmed, that closed in 2022, that had housed now abandoned swimming pools, not in use anymore. Which is where Jimin went to film the live performance, as well as flying to Hungary, only for a couple of days just to film the “Who” MV, which he also created and oversaw the choreography for, all , more recently, just months before going into the military, end of last yr. and nobody new about it, all for around a couple of yrs. Only time we all heard anything is when ppl he worked with, like the famous producers in LA as well as in NY, posted photos or just comments praising Jimin, while working alongside of him, mentioning as well being so excited about the project they were working on. There were even times when backup dancers posted things that ppl found, saw, so word somewhat got out. But yet, when finally FACE album came out, even then not a one of those producers were involved with any of those songs in FACE. Now we all know that it was for Jimin’s second album MUSE, all those songs, that all those producers were excited about & referring to. But who would have thought that Jimin was already working on second album as well way back then in 2022. Jimin so impressively & amazingly crammed so much in, trying to get as much content out, all before he left for the military the end of last yr! Writing lyrics, composing melodies, producing many songs, but if not credited always still participating, also coming up with concepts ideas, for look of MV’s as well as overseeing the filming & directing as well! Jimin even created the choreography for his song “Who”. Jimin also is involved in design of album covers, and choosing concept & look during photoshoots! To work on creating all this music, all this content non stop for almost a couple yrs is beyond mind boggling to think about! But I’m so grateful, so thankful that he did, so we can all appreciate & enjoy his on another level sheer masterful artistry while he’s away in the military til June of 2025! 🙏👍❤️🔥😅🤩😍🫶✨
Yeah, there is a law that you can not record soldiers while they are enlisted. During ceremonies where the family comes you can record but it can’t be used for profit. So everything professionally recorded you’re seeing is pre-enlistment.
I was so impressed when i watched this performance. Jimin said that he started taking singing lessons all from the beginning again and we can clearly see the great results. Now he has a better technique and as Namjoon said, he sounds more comfortable while doing high and low notes. Hope someday you watch the mmm (mini & moni music) which are two videos of Namjoon and Jimin talking about their albums :D
I did watch one, that was the first time I got to listen to them speak for an extended amount of time. We discovered BTS only a few months ago after we started this channel! Slowly but surely I'm getting to know the members little by little. I did watch "Hope On The Street" so I probably have a better feel for who J-Hope is compared to the other members so far. But they all have been very impressive to us and we look forward to learning more about them. ARMY has been awesome helping us along the way, we couldn't do this without them. They are allowed to prepare as much content as they want before entering the military, and it can all be released while they are serving. They are NOT allowed to work any second job at all, in any way, while enlisted.
Jimin, RM, Tae, and JK all enlisted in mid-December, one day apart. Jimin and JK are at the same base Jin was at, almost 40 miles north of Seoul and relatively close to the border. The other members are at different places.
Jimmy Fallon is a supporter of BTS. They have been on his show several times - there was even a BTS week during COVID - both in person and virtually. Jimin was on the show by himself last year for his Like Crazy promotions. Jimin and Jimmy have a whole “shtick” about the similarity in their names.
This song was recorded around the time as the choir vocals for Set Me Free Pt. 2 (on the FACE album) - after Jimin attended Lollapalooza to support j-hope, so in August 2022. Jimin and Pdogg were in LA for a few weeks working on this music with producers there. They worked on the songs for MUSE right after they finished up FACE.

We did a live stream for the entire album! It is in our live section if you want to check it out. I would skip through the first 15 minutes though because it was our first live and had some issues. We do know where he is stationed. He , Jin, and JK are in division 5 which is the front lines of the border between North and South Korea. I’ll leave out the province/city. He is a Sgt in the Fire direction (artillery) center. Jin was discharged 6/12/24. Jimin filmed it before he went to the military 12/12/23. The shoot’s location is a closed pool.
When you have choreography and you sing live which BTS does, you have to plan when you are going to sing and when you are going to have the backing track vocals. You have to plan your breath control. Also, the track provides back ground vocals.

The live performance was filmed in an abandoned hot water pool, which apparently is haunted according to a Korean reacter. Since Jimin's filming there, he said it has now become a local tourist spot! Jimin is known as the brand king and has helped the local economy wherever he visits. Jeju Island jumped in city ranking from 11 to 2 just after Seoul when Jimin visited the island :) Anyway, that's not relevant here, sorry!

He made the whole album from April 23 and did this performance in November 23 then went in the military on December 12th all the stuff from them that is coming out was done before they went in so we have plenty to before they come out amazing!!

if you go back and look at the footage of the members saying goodbye to RM and V you can see JK lifting Jimin's hat and see his blonde hair. He worked extremely hard to have things for Army while he is in the military.

Jimmy Fallon loves BTS, but it's no secret that Jimin is his bias, he even gave him the nickname Jimin Fallon. This is Jimin's 2nd apperance on Fallon although it wasn't in person. The 1st time was to promote his 1st solo album "Face" & he actually appeared in person in NY & answered many questions that Jimmy asked him in English. BTS as a group has appeared on Fallon's show many times. All BTS solo projects were done before they all entered military.
this is prerecorded but he sang live while singing. as to other knees they are backtracks. KPop does that to give them room to breathe while doing the hardcore choreograpbg because Kpop groups give so much effort on their live performance. But, BTS is known to use less backing tracks despite their hardcore choreography.

I like both versions..... but I favor this one. In the MV there were some effects done to his voice. It may have been auto-tune although I honestly don't know. His voice in the MV sounded a bit "mechanical" to me. He has such a great voice and I don't know why they went with enhancement. His vocals on the love show are much more natural and I like them a lot more. Take care...

Yes, in the live performance he is skipping some words at the end of the verses. And some lines he skips and lets the backing track take over so he can breath while dancing. We can hear his breaths. Just proves he’s singing live and not lip syncing. The song is the same song though as his recorded version. There are no cuts.
and I want to recommend a BTS video to you guys. It's what many people consider to be the best BTS performance of all time. You seem to like live videos, but I'd like to recommend a choreography practice video. Because I can really feel the synergy with the dancers and the atmosphere on set... There are many ways for Army to like BTS, but there are also many cases where they became fans after being moved by their song lyrics. These days, there are many hook songs with meaningless lyrics that are repeated for TikTok challenges, but BTS is a group that values lyrics. They don't film meaningless choreography or music videos, not just lyrics. Everything BTS makes has meaning.. Please refer to the videos below. It will help you understand BTS' sincerity more.

Fren on the left is correct- RM, V, Jimin, and Jungkook all enlisted in Dec 2023. I don’t know if y’all have reviewed any of the members recent music output, but if you have time go back and see if they’ve made any live Korean music show, domestic or international award show, music festival, movie premiere, fashion show, or other celebrity focused event. You won’t. Except for content released post-military by Jin (who just returned July 12, 2024), all of their content, from the music to the documentaries, has been pre-recorded in accordance with military law. This is a right that’s long been afforded to enlistees, but other idols didn’t take advantage of it (whether they didn’t want to, were scared to, or couldn’t because the label didn’t want to fund/promote their work).
This performance was made specifically for the Tonight Show, who has a great relationship with BTS (and Jimmy LOVES Jimin). BTS had an entire performance week dedicated to them on the Tonight Show (BTS Week had performances for Idol, Dynamite, Black Swan, Home, and Mikrokosmos) so I highly doubt that the network would’ve only limited him to one song if he wanted to do more. BTS as a group and individually are ratings and youtube views gold. It might just be that Jimin only prepared a performance for Who. If this was performed in front of a studio audience, he would’ve spoiled the title track in Nov 2023 for an album set to release in July 2024- not the best idea lol. He worked on everything Muse all the way up until it was time to shave his head, including filming the MV in Oct 2023. With all the filming and flying around the world they were doing to prepare content for ARMY, he was already on an extra tight schedule. For the green screen mention: The filming location is a closed down resort in South Korea.
Late night shows: BTS had a Carpool Karaoke with Corden a few years back. They’ve been on there a few times and had a good relationship with him but the show is now over. They’ve also been on The Late Show with Colbert, as well as Kimmel (no long-standing relationship).
Dance Practice: static cameras for dance practices are kind of being phased out, but since this choreography hasn’t been adapted to a live/concert stage, if this was static cam footage a lot of the actual choreography probably would have been out of frame considering all the different areas of the floor they moved. The cameraperson recording this will probably also be on set so they and the director get the benefit of seeing what angles work best,
feedback from the artist, etc.

I think you're not used to hearing raw and direct vocals on the microphone, almost the entire kpop industry uses LIVE AR for their presentations, this is known since at kpop award ceremonies sometimes the program is leaked and almost all groups uses LIVE AR.
AR = CD sound source (lip sync)
LIVE AR = Record even your breathing (lip sync)
LIVE MR = Part that can be sung on live AR
MR = Accompaniment only (live)
LIVE = Band/instrument performance (live)
It is sad that the kpop comunity have this reality so altered, running out of breath, shouting too much, hitting the microphone... all of that is normal when you sing live doing a difficult choreography.
