Even our man Laxzone was saying 'get back'. Isagi was the only one who stayed up in the goal area because he believed that Rin could stop Sae and get a steal. To go even further back, Isagi lost against Rin in season 1 due to luck, and it was something that Ego talked about. Not luck in the sense of a situation being unearned, but luck in the sense of using your skills and experience to be in a position to capitalize on something lucky happening. And here, when Rin connected with the ball as Sae attempted to nutmeg him in the exact same way he had done twice before, Rin was not aiming for a place for the ball to go. It was luck where it landed and Isagi had positioned himself to be able to move anywhere on that side of the box to land that direct shot.

Imagine cooking a defenseman on the left side of the field, keeping possession, running past your own teammates, to run all the way to the right side side of the field with the only purpose of beating/embarrassing another defender.
