Ep 7 | Two Toms climb Pidurangala Rock for a Sigiriya Sunrise then tackle 1700 steps at Dambulla

Time for an early start to watch the sunset strike Lion Rock in Sigiriya from Pidurangala rock.
It was hot and sweaty but what an amazing view in all directions.
We stayed a while and made plenty of pictures, the. Enjoyed a quiet rock before making our way home for breakfast.
We stayed at Hotel Sigiriya with a great discount from the genius level at booking.com, wild elephants came on the property at night time and roamed not far from the gates during the evening.
We didn’t do an official elephant safari but Sudu our legend behind the wheel knew where to look and we had so many great meetings with the Elephants right along the road.
Tom left after an amazing but very busy 9 days and I wrap up this little adventure in Sri Lanka as I move along to another mini mission.
